19.01.2022 Early mornings on the farm give us the best kind of autumn views

18.01.2022 It’s crutching time for our ewes. Crutching keeps them clean and tidy and reduces the risk of any infections especially as we will soon be coming into lambing season

17.01.2022 Once we’ve harvested our kale crops, the sheep get to come through and enjoy the leftovers, vitamin and mineral boosts all round

17.01.2022 Free range? Caged? Organic? Pastured? When it comes to eggs the choice can quickly become overwhelming with so many options available on the supermarket shelf!... There is absolutely no denying the quality of Three Ryans pastured eggs though. We can assure you these are the happiest hens you’ll ever meet with the freedom to roam green pastures each day and the warmth of protected caravans each night (which are certainly not over crowded). We think you can taste the difference, but don’t take our word for it, find them at your local greengrocer and let us know what you think. See more

17.01.2022 Holistic grazing at Three Ryan’s Today’s paddock looked full!

16.01.2022 Last week we had an exciting day of on farm photography with @craigkinderfood thanks to @genuinelysouthernforests. Craig had his work cut out for him with the typical Southern Forests autumn weather giving us a taste of everything. We cannot wait to see the shots he captured and share more of our farming story with you.

15.01.2022 Have you got your Christmas caulis sorted? You can find our Manjimup grown cauliflowers at your closest Gilberts store this summer.

13.01.2022 Our first sunflower popped up in the cauliflowers this morning, despite giving us something pretty to look at these flowers attract predatory insects and are very important for our soil. Their deep taproots break up soil layers, attracting a diverse range of important microbes including bacteria and fungi that benefit our rotational crops. They also come in handy when we forget to buy flowers come Valentine’s Day.

13.01.2022 Have you noticed the colour of our pastured eggs compared to some other brands? Because our girls get to eat a wide range of plants and bugs they eat more carotenoids (natural pigments). This increased intake of natural beta carotene gives the egg yolk that dark orange colour. We hope you’ve stocked up on your @three_ryans eggs for your New Years Day cook up.

12.01.2022 At Three Ryan’s today we Crimper Rolled then Strip Tilled some of the best potential hay/silage we have ever grown. Oats ,Barley,Ryecorn, 3 different ryegrass’s, clovers, field peas, medic, capeweed and a few other weeds and grasses! Our worms and microbes should love it! We will be planting Kale into it tomorrow.

09.01.2022 Repost from @mattersoftaste, thanks again for allowing us to showcase our farm to your guests Back @three_ryans this morning with Jake on our agri-food tour. I cannot tell you how much knowledge this wonderful human being is sharing with us about land regeneration and growing veggies and animals - taking care of land is the key to slowing this environmental change we are experiencing.... He has given us a very valuable science lesson which has connected the group even more to this region and land in general. I certainly have learnt essential and relevant biology and chemistry information from Jake, and wish this could be taught in schools today. Thanks again for hosting our group and we love what you do @three_ryans #regenerativeagriculture #cauliflower #broccoli #kale #nextgeneration #agrifarmtourism #westernaustralia #southernforests #ontourwithmattersoftaste

09.01.2022 Sometimes at Three Ryan’s you need to be patient when shifting paddock. These heifers waited 20 minutes for 2000 sheep to cross the river in single file! A normal daily rotation takes 2-3 minutes.

09.01.2022 The girls coming out for another day of eating grass, chasing bugs and being chooks!

09.01.2022 Trace elements and microbe stimulates are being sprayed on our seed crops of Ryecorn(left) and Williams oats at Three Ryan’s today.

06.01.2022 Over the weekend we had the pleasure of sharing our passion with guests of a @genuinelysouthernforests tour. We love showcasing what we do and raising awareness about the benefits of pastured eggs.

06.01.2022 Well! 48 hours after releasing the Southern Forests Food Tour for October we only have 3 places left! What a fabulous response and thanks to all who have booked... themselves in. If you are considering joining us to this very special region to experience the wonderful people and pristine growing farmland then get a shimmy on and hop onto our website to take a look at what’s on offer. This all inclusive tour will be eye opening and loads of fun - the food we eat is pretty darn good too! 06.01.2022 The whole team from Three Ryans would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Like many farms, egg production is a 365 day of the year gig, but we don’t mind checking in on our girls on Christmas morning and enjoying some family time in the afternoon. Image captured by one the guests on a recent @genuinelysouthernforests tour.

06.01.2022 All hands on deck at @three_ryans with Jensen joining the team to learn all things pastured eggs

02.01.2022 Unfortunately we have had a misprint of the wrong best before date on our latest batch of Cauliflower rice and Cauliflower with Broccoli rice. This means that we can’t legally deliver it to our stockists to on-sell to you. We plan to have our full range back on the shelves with a fresh batch next week and apologise for any inconvenience in the mean time! Happy New Year everyone, we look forward to seeing what 2021 brings.

02.01.2022 Cabbage maybe even better than we thought!!

01.01.2022 Three Ryan’s egg display units are now in all Gilbert’s stores. Drop in to your closest store and try our eggs and take a look at at the other great produce Gilbert’s supply.
