23.01.2022 Mama + mini // Popping these here because they make an awesome Christmas gift Trust me when I say these will get a lot of use in the cooler months, I wear mine a lot. They’re super comfy and are made with pure ethically sourced wool that we’ve dyed ourselves with natural dyes. The soles are painted with several layers of natural rubber latex for grip and extra strength. All the ladies slippers are ready to ship.... The kids slippers are custom made. 22.01.2022 Do you have a special lullaby that you sing to your little ones? My mum used to sing us a sweet Dutch lullaby about a little sheep called Sleep Baby Sleep or Slaap Kindje Slaap. I have very fond memories of it and still sing it to my boys to this day. They even request it this blanket reminded me of it Ollie wearing his cosy felted heirloom shoes in Caramel. 16.01.2022 October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month and I really wanted to share this beautiful book with you. As many of you know, I lost my daughter Indigo almost 4 years ago at 15 days old. Helping my other children through that has also been an entirely new and sometimes overwhelming experience. I found this beautiful book by Frankie Brunker These Precious Little People earlier this year and I just had to order it (all the way from the UK). I fell in love with... the illustrations (by Gillian Gamble Artist ) and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a beautiful way to help children with understanding the loss of a baby. Both during pregnancy and after. For siblings born and lost before and after themselves. I also found it quite healing for myself too. The pain you live with after losing a little one is indescribable and it leaves me absolutely broken some days. And sadly I am not the only one. It’s heartbreaking knowing others go through this pain too. Life after loss is a whole new journey and I am right there with you. Sending my love and hugs to those that need it See more

Not so much what went through my head, but the feeling that went through my body. Such an amazing and overwhelming mixture of complete relief, awe, love and curiosity. What was that first moment like for you?... This is the large 8 inch hoop size, there are 3 size options.

14.01.2022 It was our angel’s 4th Birthday yesterday. Thank you for all the beautiful birthday messages, love, hugs and strength you sent through. It means so much Celebrating the birthday of a child you wish more than anything was here to hug is so incredibly hard. Forever left with questions like: I wonder what her personality would have been like, would she have been as cheeky as her brothers? What would her favourite activity be? What cake would she have asked for? But... also forever grateful to have met her. I can’t imagine life without this experience. We always put an effort in to celebrate this day, because it is special and we want her to be remembered. If you saw my stories yesterday, you know I struggled, that’s the reality of life after loss. You never know when those tears will hit. But I also enjoyed beautiful moments, watching my boys decide to set up a beautiful memorial table for her before heading to school was the highlight of my day and spending the afternoon at the park taking in the fresh air was healing The day we met her was incredible and also overwhelming, she came along very fast and on her own terms, it was a relatively easy birth. I didn’t get to hold her (which as a mama was one of the hardest things) but I will always remember the feeling of her little hand resting on my leg while her umbilical cord was cut, before she was taken to be intubated. A touch that will be with me forever. Indigo was born with a rare birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) which is when the diaphragm fails to close during prenatal development, allowing other organs to invade the chest and inhibit the growth of the lungs and heart. We found out at 22 weeks and hers was severe, but she had a chance and we clung to that hope. She gave us a very special 15 days with her which we are forever grateful for. She is the inspiration behind everything I make. Happy birthday Indigo See more

08.01.2022 This beautiful keepsake finally went home to her loving family. I made one of her sister last year too. Such a lovely memory to have in the girls bedroom Also sorry for my absence lately, still catching up and our whole family caught a stomach bug. We’re all pretty good now, just a little weak, which is only natural. If I havn’t replied to your emails yet I will do so tomorrow.
