25.01.2022 A beautiful spring day, the vines have new shoots growing rapidly and we are looking forward to another good year in the vineyard.

19.01.2022 Hi everyone Today we have rain, hopefully not too much, as the buds are now shooting and the vineyard needs to be mown to stop the spring grass getting too long. We have had a very wet start to the season, the spring bulbs are looking beautiful in the Riesling rows, and I have a paddock with a beautiful daffodil growing, I will try to send you a photo of the spring bulbs. The reason we have bulbs in the vineyard is that in the Riesling was a house and Apple packing shed.

17.01.2022 Today I have been down in the vineyard tucking up the Pinot Noir and thinning all the little shoots at the same time. It was hard work but I now have 6 neat and tidy rows. Unforunately there are another 12 to do asap.

15.01.2022 Hi everyone! Please be advised that the Three Wishes Cellar Door will not be open for the next three weeks as Rosemary is embarking on an adventure to the USA with her sisters. Enjoy your Easter breaks!

14.01.2022 The Three Wishes Cellar Door is now officially open on Weekends from December to April and of course public holidays as well. We will be closed on Xmas and Boxing Day only. We will be tasting and selling by the bottle or glass our lovely Riesling 2012, yummy Chardonnay 2010 and delicious Pinot Noir 2010. I am doing coffee and cake as well this year. So it would really good to sit out on the deck looking at the beautiful view of the Tamar and having afternoon tea.... Our cakes will be made by Kerri at Tio Rico as they have a commercial kitchen! I will just have to resist eating them between the clients. Hope to see you this summer.

14.01.2022 Hi everyone! Three Wishes will not be open on Saturday as we are holding a stall at the Harmony Day Princes Square event. Feel free to come along and visit us, and experience some of the amazing multiculturalism Tasmania has to offer. We will reopen the Cellar Door on Sunday. Have a great weekend!

08.01.2022 Sunrise at Three Wishes Vineyard

01.01.2022 Hi everyone I am off to the vineyard to try to protect a small nest of European Gold Finches chicks who are just about to be blitzed with a Hydrogen Peroxide spray which is the last stand act to stop the Powdery Mildew dead. I will try to take a few photos and send them to you all. I have so far this year discovered 5 nests in the vineyard, with eggs and or chicks, one of the things about being disorganised and slightly organic, we have all sorts of creatures. When the weather is right you can hear the growling grass frog (Green and gold frog) which is now very rare on mainland aussie but not on our farm , they seem to be in every dam. The other day while mowing I had a large lizard go infront of the mower. So far no long black things that I have seen, but I am sure they will be there somewhere. Rosemary
