24.01.2022 TODDLERS 27/08/2020 Thursday Today we learned Capital letters letters by seeing the Alphabet book. Children were reading the book & pointing pictures. Children had fun singing action songs and doing actions.... We talked about how to keep ourself clean and takes bath every day . Tyreece said dad helped me to take bath and Izabella said mummy helped me . We did numbers flash cards rainbows colours and shapes chart. In the story time we did read the story of a frog - Tidalick ACTIVITY Children did leaves prints .We painted on the leaves and stamped it in the paper.Children identified colours in their paintings. Children played with connector toys .They did transport puzzle.They enjoyed cooking game in home corner. 24.01.2022 Tuesday group time 15/9/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we had a chat about when to wash our hands. Kids started saying it is good to wash our hands after and before eating, playing, sneezing, coughing and when touch the rubbish. Then we learned to identity our body parts by looking at the chart and Alphabets flash cards.( Encouraging kids about hygiene and developing their ability to wash their hands independently improves their hygiene and improving letters identif...ying through flash cards can allow them to understand basic grammatical skills from an early stage.) For story time : We looked at the pictures in the dictionary book and talked about things we saw in the book. Then we sang our favorite songs to the class.(Improving our general knowledge benefits and enhances the way of kids can process language and speech in the group.) Teacher initiated : Gave them pattern cards to match the shapes, colours and different size. Kids were very keen to look for the pieces to match the pattern and some kids were asking to do more patterns. (Developing milestones for sorting and matching shapes, colors, and pictures, can allow children to have more than just fun, as these skills help strengthen cognitive development.) Children initiated : Threading beads, rainbow blocks, abcd magnetic board, maths board and farm animals puzzle fixing.(Building hand eye coordination and concentration, problem solving, determination and perseverance to accomplish a task.) 22.01.2022 24/08/2020 (Monday) TODDLERS GROUP TIME Today in the group time we sang childrens favourite songs, read a counting book. We learned Abcd with song, counting, parts of the body and days of the week.... COLOURING ACTIVITY Miss Priti gave the paper to every child and put the crayons in the middle on the table and told children to draw and colour something for their parents and encouraged them to draw. They all did the activity sitting together and sharing colours with each other. Through this activity they learn to hold the crayons colour and practice on their fine motor skills. INDOOR PLAY Children played with different types of puzzles ring stacker, car tracks and wooden blocks. They all played dress up in the homecorner area. 22.01.2022 Friday group time 4/9/2020 Junior, Senior Kindy and some vacation care Children. Today we practiced Abcd by looking at the flash cards, counted numbers 1 to 50 and identified the shapes on the shapes chart. Then we sang numbers song and nursery rhymes while making actions. We also did show and tell from our schoolies. (Developing early numeracy skills and singing number songs and building literacy skills can help children. And learning rhymes and giving visual expression pla...ying along with actions would be beneficial to their futures.) For story time : We read a book of "Helping". We had a chat about our Dad and asked the children to help Dad for Fathers day to make it even more special.(Learning relationship between child and Dad can be equally shown that when fathers are affectionate and supportive, it greatly affects of kids cognitive and social development.) Teacher initiated : We did Fathers day card to take home. While painting, kids were talking about their dads favorite food, colours and snacks they like to eat most.(Improving their social skills understand conversation and social skills as a learning focus. You provide children with opportunities to develop meaningful relationships with their peers, educators, and families.) 21.01.2022 TODDLERS 9/9/2020 Wednesday Group time Today we talked about five senses ,hearing, touch, smell, sight, and taste. We gave some objects to children asked some questions 1. Explained five sense and the sense by talking hearing She sounds happy touch Your hand feels cold. smell This flower smells nice. sight He looks tired. taste The apple tastes sweet. ACTIVITY Children made craft of senses by gluing eyes, ears ,nose and lips They played with wooden train set and made track with wooden blocks.They enjoyed playing with felt board and animals. We also learned how to read the time by looking at the clock puzzle board and asked the kids what time they wake up in the morning?(Learning about different cultural aspects offers new experiences for children. Diversity helps children to learn about other cultures from around the world.) For story time : We read a nursery... rhymes book and sang some songs and celebrated Kales 5th birthday and every one wished her by singing Happy birthday songs by clapping their hands. And every one had some Cake.. Teacher initiated : We played having a party time (pretend play ) and asked kids what things we need for the party. Kids were then given a free choice of drawing.(Improving dramatic play encourages children to celebrate their favorite day.) 20.01.2022 Wednesday group time 26/8/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we had chat about Recycling materials that we use everyday by looking at the chart and learned the colours of the bins and what to put in each one. Then Theo and Nath brought photos of them holding the snake for show and tell and they were very excited to talk about the snake and were saying how they feel when they touch the snake and how big it was and colous of the snake and every one had looked at the photo...s of the boys.(Learning about recycling will create a sustainable world for them to live in and improving our speaking and the rest of the class listening to talk about as a conversation starter discussions are strengthened by the confidence of social skills.) For story time : We read a book of touch and feel baby animals book. Then we sang Abcd song and played Teddy bear game by singing we are going on the bear hunt.(Learning to respond verbally and non-verbally to what they see, hear, touch, feel and taste. use language and representations.) Teacher initiated : Gave a snake colouring sheet to colour by kids choice of colours. After coloring, the snakes looked very colorful Then we sticked the snake head to body and played with the snakes which they had coloured. Aleyah said she is very excited because she is going to eat cake and share some with her friends. Then we learned two word alphabets sound book with pictures in it.(Building self awareness, emotions and learning to express our feelings.) For story time : We read a story of Bed time stories (Part 1 ). Af...ter story, I asked the kids who read stories at home. Kalekimisa said she wanted to sing frozen song. So we decided to play let it go song and kids were having fun singing with the lyrics.(learning to use valuable learning tool. can helps kids to improve their listening skills and pronunciation they can also be useful for teaching vocabulary and sentence structures.) Teacher initiated : Gave snowflake colouing sheet to colour by their choice of colours. Each child picked their favorite colours to colour the snowflake.(Improving pencil grip, mindfulness and experiences of resource excite and engage with learning.) 19.01.2022 Friday group time 11/9/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we learned to spell our name by looking at the name cards and also identified the letters. Then learned shapes through making them with our fingers. Kids were trying make many shapes and felt very proud of them. (Learning to spell and recognise our names by encouraging the children to choose the correct letters will improve cognitive development and development of muscles from the whole arm through to the finger ...tips provides children with the strength required to manipulate mark-making.) For story time : We read a book of Lets do it, after story time kids started to chat about fireman and ambulance. Then we sang some song by kids choice.(Sharing stories, talking and singing every day helps childern to develop in lots of ways eg : get to know sounds, words and language, and develop early literacy skills.) Teacher initiated : Dress ups as a fireman, doctor, pirate and rescue man. Kids were very excited after wearing and pretending the characters and had fun playing with the costumes. 19.01.2022 Friday group time 20/11/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we learnt the Early learning center book with Counting, Letters, Colours and Shapes. All the kids are super clever and they said all 4 categories in the book correctly with no help from the teacher. (Development and promoting to go through challenges by improving literacy and numeracy.) For story time : Read a book of "HONESTY and a discussed about how being honest makes other peoples trust us . Children were s...aying that they were honest and smiled at the teacher .(Learning about being positive and honest will make them feel better about themselves). Teacher initiated : Gave some coloured papers and some straw and children got busy creating different types of collages and they were describing what the had made after they finished. Some picked toy car and started to assemble the car set, puzzle fixing and home corner.(Children develop flexibility in creativity and Social development increases while interacting and working with others. 18.01.2022 Friday group time 21/8/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we talked about Nature. And displayed some materials of leaves, sells, pinecones and rocks to feel, touch and smell. Children had turns of all the materials, then we looked at the wild animals chart and learned how to spell our name by seeing the name cards. (Children are learning and developing knowledge of the natural environment things and experiences sense of identity and exploring and engaging with the metar...ils. And improving cognitive benefits of learning names.) For story time : We read a book of "The Flappets". After story time the teacher played baby shark song and kids started to dance and sing with the lyrics.(Learning through dance helps kids coordinate and control their bodies and the movement helps them develop spatial awareness of listening and understanding skills will be improved.) Teacher initiated : Gave Eucalyptus leaves to paint and and told the kids to stamp the leaves on the paper. Andvalso teached the kids that Koalas loves Eucalyptus leaves. Children had fun painting and told that they have seen koalas in zoo.( Learning about wildlife animals food.) Children initiated : played in train set with different cars and train toys on the track, multicultural puzzle board and drawing.(Improving problem solving and able to learn how to build the tracks so the train can continue to move without obstacles.) 18.01.2022 21/08/2020( Friday) Today morning we did some 2D shape rocket colouring with school, junior and senior kindy children. Miss Priti gave them the print outs and put the colour box in the middle of the table so all children can grab the colour and colour their rocket, later when they finished Reet and Eknoor asked Miss Priti if they can get a piece of paper to draw a rainbow then Miss Priti gave the paper to them and They made a beautiful rainbow. All children were engaged and... involved, and were very happy to show to their friends and to the teacher what they have made. Later in the morning Miss Priti gather all the children and she showed how to make origami heart. Children got excited and nicely sat on the chair and Miss Priti gave every children a origami paper and told them to follow her instructions . All the children were following miss Priti instruction to complete the origami heart. She help junior and senior kindergarten children to complete their origami heart. 18.01.2022 Monday group time 17/8/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we learned how rainbow forms. And kids started to say that they all saw the rainbow on the weekend . Then we did alphabets chart on the wall and weekdays songs.( Learning about rainbow facts and Interesting Information about Rainbows, what colors are in the atmosphere, which results in a spectrum of light appearing. And improving our literacy skills.)... For story time : We read a book of Helping and asked the kids if they help others or mum and dad at home? Some children said they do help at home and felt proud of them.(Helping others to regulate their emotions, predicted better emotional and cognitive skills gives them the chance to connect with others, creating stronger communities and to build a happier society for everyone.) Teacher initiated : Given a rainbow colour activity sheet to trace the dots. Kids were keen to hold the pencil and did their best tracing also they learned the colours by picking pens in order. After tracing kids felt proud of their work .(Worksheets helps the children to develop early learning skills. Tracing on dots helps to practice the pencil grip, hand-eye co-ordination and great fun educational exercise.) 17.01.2022 Thursday group time 27/8/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we talked about wearing seat belts while traveling in a vehicle. And our bus kids said that they always wear seat belts while sitting in the bus and some said its safe and secure. Then we listened to the phonics song and did 1 to 50 counting by looking at the number chart.(Learning about safety, awareness and transport. Improving reading by learning the sounds reading and writing of the English language by deve...loping learners.) For story time : We read a book of Everyones got a bottom. After story had a chat about good touch and bad touch. Kids were very aware of their self protection.(Children learning about good touch and bad touch is a sensitive topic but their learning has to start at home and its all about their safety.) Teacher initiated : We played count and match wooden cards with balloons in it. Kids had turns to match the numbers they have been asked to pick and all the kids did very well with counting and also they learned the colours of the balloons.(working towards basic math One-to-One Correspondence Activities and Improving to recognize the numbers.) Kids started to say what time they have dinner and what they eat for dinner. Then we played the letter cards matching game and I asked the kids to match the capital and small letters. We also did counting 1 to 50 by looking at the number chart. (Learning about positive mealtimes and access to purpose-built and learning about the upper- and... lowercase letters.) For story time : We read a book of Noisy Nora. After listening to story, Kala said I saw a Kite in the story then she said she likes to play with Kite. Then we talked about how we play with kites at the beach and park. (Kids learn when story itself, analysis of learning, extension ideas eg : learning stories in helps kids to observation reflective.) Teacher initiated : We did kite craft by using straw to hold the kite and some wool to fly the kite in the air. Children had turn touching and feeling caterpillar puppet in the story book.We did phonic sounds and alphabet chart . ACTIVITY We did caterpillar craft with cut papers.Children identified shape and colors of cut papers used for their craft . Children played with puzzles and made zoo animals and felt board .They made music with instruments and played bus driver and passengers game . 15.01.2022 12th January 2021 While following the interest of the Schoolies, we decided to make volcanoes in the sandpit using bicarbonate of soda, vinegar and dishwashing liquid. Miss Karen brought in a lava rock and wood carvings that she brought back from Papa New Guinea for the children to see how they carve different objects from trees and lava . While making the volcanoes the children suggested to make them using other ingredients. So we are going to use Coke and Mentos to compare the difference in the eruptions to see which one was higher and which eruption was better. The children enjoyed the activity as well as the outside play. All the children wore sunscreen and hats for their safety.Hope you all had a wonderful day. Miss Karen and Miss Shyamala

Kids got excited about the party and said they are all being good for Santa and were excited about the presents . Then we learned from the abcd book with pictures and looked at weather chart.(Learning numerous and cognitive Skills). For story time : We read a book of "The Bear who didn't like honey". After s...tory some kids started to say they like honey sandwiches. Yummy. Then we had chat about weekend fun play at home with mum and Dad, and children were sharing what they did on the weekend.(Reading and sharing stories can help them get to know sounds, words and language and develop early literacy skills and communication skills). Teacher initiated : Teacher helped to cut the apple shape paper and asked the kids to glue them on the tree and kids learned the numbers by gluing apples on the tree after sticking apples kids were showing how many apples they got in the apple tree and sang apples are falling from the tree.(Supporting kids and extending through fun learning base by use of Creative art skills.) 11.01.2022 Thursday group time 10/9/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we had chat about the colours of the clothes, shoes, jumper which we are wearing and sang bumble bee song to wash our hands. Then we all had our morning fruits while saying the names of the fruits and sat for the group time and learned colours, clock board and looked at the Alphabets uppercase mat with pictures on it.(Encourage children regularly to sit on the carpet for group time and make the time fun by sing...ing a song, reading a book or just talking with them engages children in an interactive learning.) For story time : We read a books of Sorry and Please. After story, we had a discussion about saying Please and sorry makes other people happy and good. Kids agreed to say please when they need something from others and saying sorry if they did anything wrong accidentally.(Learning positive and improving speaking politely with others.) Teacher initiated : Gave a choice of colours to paint on the bubble wrap and stamp them on the white paper and see how it looks like. Kids had fun painting and had a surprise look on the painting that they had done then they all had fun popping the bubble wrap after painting.(Exploring the bubble wrap makes kids to Feel the various textures of the puffy bubble pouches and hearing the noise of popping and also children can actually develop fine motor skills by using their thumb and index finger to pop the bubbles in the wrap as it builds finger strength and increases hand/eye coordination.) Kids were very clever and told me the letters and pictures name with no help, then we did days of the week and months chart then Aleyah and Tizsiah stared to sing days of the week song.(Learning Alphabet matching will develop their understanding of the alphabetic of uppercase and lowercase letters.) 10.01.2022 31/08/2020 ( Monday) TODDLERS GROUP TIME Today in the group time with toddlers we read a book about different kinds of animal, also learned and practice counting and ABCD. we sang childrens favourite songs, and did shapes and colour identification ... ART/CRAFT - Since its Fathers Day coming soon children did a craft for Fathers Day. Miss Priti wrote I DAD on paper and children glued the letters one by one and then stick the colourful shredded paper on the letter to complete the craft. They all were excited and involved and also chose the colour of the paper of their choice. INDOOR PLAY Children played with puzzles, ring stacker, car tracks, beads ring maze and farm animals block. They also played dress up in the homecorner area. OUTDOOR PLAY In the morning all the children had fun while playing outdoor. They all played in sandpit area, played with mega blocks , ball and racket. They rode bikes and trucks. They did swing and slides too. Rheae and Aleyah did backwards counting to the class then all other kids started to count with the them. Then we saw the days of the week and months chart and finished with our alphabets chart.(Developing early numeracy skills by counting backwards and forwards helps kids in numeracy skills and to involve in activities and understand numbers and counting.) For story t...ime : We read a book of Franklin is lost. After story time had we had conversation of what happened in the book. After that, all the children sang the rainbow song saying the colours name in order.(Getting involvement through home activities and experiences and discussing while also getting the opportunity of sharing their ideas, engaging... in a conversation and listening to others. And improving literacy and numerous.) For story time : We read The Gruffalo. Theo and Nath brought the book for show and tell. After listening to the story kids started say their favorite books name.(Improving listening to stories and giving important part of practicing reading skills.) Teacher initiated : We did mouse puppet by using the spoon. Kids had fun making the mouse by gluing the googley eyes and yellow tail and also choosing which coloured ears they wanted to glue on. For story time : We read a book of " Who saw the Turtle?". After story time kids were asking about to see the animals in the book. We sang I had a tiny Turtle song. 06.01.2022 17/8/2020 (Monday) Today in the morning when children came they played with Legos and Construction box and they made tower and house with that, all the children were happy, sharing and playing together. Later in the morning we read the little mermaid book with junior/ senior kindy children. Aleyah also named aerial to one of the mermaid in the book. she loved the book so much that even after reading she was keep looking at book and making her own story by looking at the pi...cture in the book. Today for the activity Miss Priti brought Alphabet tracing printables and we learn and practiced the alphabets. Miss Priti told children to sat on the chair and put the colour pens on the table then she gave the printable to each child and told them to trace the alphabet. Miss priti was asking every child randomly about the alphabet and almost every child knew all the alphabet. While tracing the alphabets miss priti made sure that when Aleyah hold the pencil and trace she put her arm on rest as her mum mention that she dont put her hand on rest while writing or holding pencil, she did really well today. 05.01.2022 14/09/2020 ( Monday) INDOOR ACTIVITIES Today morning we talk about farm, wild and sea animals and children where sharing what animal they like the most and what animals they have at home. Theodore and Nathaniel always like to share things about their horses and chickens they have at home. Later children did the colour on the sea animals print out given by Miss Priti , they all were nicely sat on the chair and did the colouring activity together. Later children pl...ayed with puzzles, legos and Mega plugging flower. Then after that children packed their activities and got ready for outdoor play. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES Later in the morning we went outside for outdoor play and all the children were really happy and excited as the weather was really nice in the morning. We water the palnts and check on the garden. We rode bikes Children made castle and tower in the sandpit. Children tried balancing on balancing beams, all the children were happy that they able to to the balance. They also did different activities like playing ball and racket, see saw, ball play , swing and slides and hula hoop. TODDLER ROOM Today in the toddler room children had a fun day. In the group time we sang childrens favourite songs, we did counting and abcd by seeing the chart. For art/ craft activity we made flowers by using fork and poster paints with all the toddler, miss Priti guided and helped them throughout and they were all happy and excited for the activity. After that they played in the home corner area with babies and teddies, they all continued playing with blocks , puzzles, beads maze, wooden cars and wooden farm animals. COLOURING ACTIVITY Today is the first day of spring so miss Priti draw some flower pattern and got the printout of that for all the children, all children sat nicely on the chair and miss Priti put the colour-boxes in middle of the table and gave the print to each child. They all enjoyed their colouring activity by sitting and sharing colours together. All were really happy to colour their flowers by choosing their favourite colours to complete the flower. 02.01.2022 Monday group time 14/9/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we talked about how many days we come to school and how many day we stay at home with mum and dad. Then we learnt days of the week by looking at the chart. Then we sang the ABCD song, rainbow song and 12345 once I got fish song.(Learning to sing weekdays will help to identify all seven days of the week. Children can learn and develop the literacy and numeracy skills through rhymes.) For story time : We read a boo...k about wildlife animals, and had chat of who has got pets at home?(Learning and interacting with animals will build the senses of connection, empathy and caring for a pet instills respect and responsibility for life and an awareness of the needs of others as well as giving children an understanding the wildlife environment.) Teacher initiated : We did Owl art work. Teacher helped to cut the owl body, nose and eye balls and kids glued them on the white paper and painted the wings by using their hand to print on the owl. (Learning creative, development of Skill Context and Concept can be beneficial for children) Children initiated : kids had fun playing in Dinosaur puzzle fixing, tapping sticks counting and soft toys.(Learning through various dino images of dinosaur puzzle games includes various species with interesting play and they can learn and improve their fine motor skills and develop hand-eye coordination by using their listening skills through Rhymes, beat and tempo) EYLF : 4 Children are confident and involved learners. 01.01.2022 Tuesday group time 25/8/2020 Junior and Senior Kindy room Today we had chat about circle of life butterfly by looking at the chart. Then we learned the Alphabets flash cards and asked the kids what letters stand for what pictures. Smart kids! They were able to tell the letters name and were very good in matching pictures with the letters.(Learning about transformation and exploring of Butterflys transformation and learning vocabulary skills.) For story time : We read a book ...of Keep Trying. Then we sang head, shoulders and knees song by making actions and some kids wanting to sing faster then we sang even faster and had fun.( Improving and developing, monitoring and reporting on personal learn to achieve goals keep track of their progress towards achieving their goals.(Learning body parts and Identifying.) Teacher initiated : We did hand print butterfly painting. While painting, kids were saying they saw butterfly in the garden and were trying to catch it.(Children acquire hand-eye coordination, an important skill in trivial details, painting on paper requires varied painting skills.) Children initiated : Felt board with small animals toys, big Aus map puzzle with their peers, maths board and homecorner.(Manipulative play facilitates children development of fine motor skills and coordination.) 01.01.2022 4/9/2020 (Friday) OUTDOOR ACTIVITY - Today in the morning all the children had fun while playing outdoor. They all were very excited and energetic as the weather was really nice in the morning.They played in the sandpit. They rode bikes, scooter and trucks. We had a game of tennis and racket between sharlah and Riwhi. They all took turns in swing and tyre swing. ... ART AND CRAFT ACTIVITY FOR FATHERS DAY In the toddler room today we continued making the cards for Fathers Day and we also made badges for Fathers Day. All toddler were excited and happy to make thing for their dads, they were all involved and engaged. Miss Priti guided them throughout the activity.
