17.01.2022 It is so fulfilling reading such incredible experiences students have volunteering with ANU+. Are you looking to volunteer as well? Wondering what is ANU+? ANU+ is a program that formally recognises students’ experience and contribution achieved through volunteering. It encourages them to give back to the community, develop skills related... to their employability prospects and reflect on their co-curricular experiences to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. The program is open to all ANU students, and they can start at any time in their degree. Successful participants receive the ANU+ Award which will appear on their academic transcript.

12.01.2022 One of Thrive's healthy habits for 2021 is to try and practice positive self-talk! Positive self-talk can take up as much time in your day as you want it to, the way in which you practice it is up to you! Some few tips are - Avoid negative self-talk - this involves identifying scenarios in which you usually tend to doubt yourself, and figuring out how you can avoid engaging in negative self-talk while in these scenarios. Give yourself 1 positive affirmation a day - ...you can say this affirmation out loud, write it on a bit of paper, or simply think it to yourself. Check in with your feelings - when you start to experience self-doubt, pause and have a think as to why you might be feeling those feelings. Ask yourself if you would say those things to your friends who were in similar situations - the answer is probably no. See more

01.01.2022 Thrive's next healthy habit for 2021 is to get outside and move your body! It sounds simple, but being in the sunshine for even just 15 minutes can dramatically improve your mood. As for moving your body, exercise doesn't have to cost you, it can be as easy as walking around the block or going for a hike! Doing this will allow you to move your body AND enjoy the sunshine, 2 extremely beneficial wellness habits to adopt in 2021.
