25.01.2022 Quick stop on Day 1 of our little Aussie getaway to celebrate Rich's birthday week! Yes, he is spoilt! I suppose if we can't travel abroad, we might as well explore our own country! I absolutely love places that serve fresh, beautiful food that leaves you feeling great! And I always seek out cafes like this! Most of the food here comes from the local farms in the area!... And it was as delicious as it looked! Happy Sunday friends!

25.01.2022 The other day I saw a post from a diet/shake company asking women to comment ''yes'' if they wanted to lose weight! Within 20 mins they had nearly 100 comments.. I wondered... Will the women who sign up to this diet company lose weight? Some will, some won't..... BUT - the real Questions are: Will they keep it off? Will their understanding of food change? Will their health improve? Will they feel better about themselves? Most likely the answer to all these Questions is NO! If money was my motivator, I would sell a shake, or a diet or any other short term fix. But my motivator is HELPING YOU! I genuinely want you to feel good, improve your health, gain energy, gain confidence, understand food better, feel in control of what you eat and achieve your goals! 23.01.2022 Lunch time with this delicious sandwich packed with all the colours of the rainbow and served on rye sourdough! - Seriously, how can you NOT feel good after eating this! Ever since I got the craving for this a few days ago, I want it every day now! My cravings are always for nutrient packed, healthy food - some people might find that weird cos they associate cravings with things like sugar, chocolate and other unhealthy foods.. but when you start eating more wholefoods, yo...ur body naturally wants more of those foods! 20.01.2022 No.. this is not Carlos Santana or my cool younger bro.. this is my dad! Do you see the resemblance?? Most people say I look like him and I certainly got his hair! Dem crazy curls! My dad has worked hard his whole life for his family and he puts everyone before himself. No matter what we need, one thing is for sure.. my dad is always there to help (and annoy) us! ... Who has liked, commented and shared my posts, who has messaged me giving me positive feedback and who has supported me since I launched my business! This week I hit over 1000 likes and whilst I never started my business for the likes or follows, it does mean that every day I have the opportunity to inspire over 1000 people to eat more REAL food! Sometimes I feel I am a little voice in a big world filled with unnec...essary confusing information about nutrition. One that is dominated by big business which profit from selling processed food and junk (often disguised as healthy food) that leave so many people feeling sick, unhealthy, low in energy, unhappy with how they look and unable to control what they eat! BUT I am determined to share my passion of educating, inspiring and supporting people to live healthier lives. Even if it means doing so one person at a time. 20.01.2022 You can't out train a bad diet I remember I use to think being fit and healthy meant going to the gym or for a run, I never paid attention to what I was eating, and in fact in some way I went to the gym just so I could eat ''whatever I wanted''. There are lots of people who think like this. They smash it out in the gym for an hour every day but pay no attention to what they are doing for the remaining 23 hours.. then they wonder why they aren't achieving their goals ... What you eat on a daily basis is FAR more significant than the hour spent in the gym when it comes to how you feel and your overall health. Get your nutrition right and you'll be unstoppable My program teaches you how to fuel your body the right way. No bro science here! Just real knowledge about real food. Once you learn this (and you only need to learn it once!) you can start smashing your goals and taking your health and fitness to the next level!!

18.01.2022 I bought a packet of these sprouted beans for 55 cents yesterday because they were close to their best before date. And I've been happily munching on them since! In a world (unnecessarily) obsessed with protein, where you'll find hundreds of expensive processed protein products on the market.. this is nature's protein! ... Cheap Clean No nasty additives and incredibly good for you!

16.01.2022 I have a few rules when getting my weekly fruit and veg 1. Select a diverse range of fruit and veg. Eating a variety means you are giving your body a HUGE range of different nutrients that it thrives off! Meaning you feel good every day 2. Try to buy something new or that you haven't had recently. This week I got okra which I haven't had in ages and mangos, the first batch of the season!! ... 3. I always try to buy plastic-free. I bring my own brown paper bags to re-use for mushies and smaller veg. This is why shopping at markets and fruit & veg shops is better than the big supermarkets. Seeing all the colours of the fruit and veg excites me for the week ahead , all the yummy meals I will create and most importantly how amazing it will make me feel all week!!

And by having a variety of real food in your house, you not only set yourself (and your family) up to eat good, but this is also the best way to ensure you feel good every day and you're on the right path to optimal health! Time and time again I tell my clients that you SHOULD feel good every day, you should be waking up with energy which sustains you throughout.. it is NOT normal to be low in energy and feel crap consistently. Do NOT accept... this to be YOUR normal. Boost your intake of real food and see the difference for yourself!

14.01.2022 Some days I am so organised! I cut all the ingredients beforehand and put it next to the pan ready to cook in a perfectly timed order. Most days though, it looks a bit like when the muppets cook .. I run from the fridge to the cupboard to the stove, I'm chopping random ingredients whilst making a big mess and my hubby is watching me with judging eyes cos his job is to do the cleaning up Whether you're super organised in the kitchen or look like you're in the muppet show, eating healthy doesn't have to be difficult or take hours of planning. My programs teach you that you don't need to be a masterchef with loads of time to eat healthy and feel amazing!

12.01.2022 Saturday mornings mean cooking up a big nutritious breakfast. This is my #tofuscramble served on sliced grilled sweet potato! Here is a tip - instead of toast, slice sweet potato lengthways and grill in the oven for 10-15mins or until cooked. Then load it up with veggie packed tofu scramble! The is the perfect gluten-free alternative to toast and is packed with much more nutrients! ... Have a great weekend!

Everything from this local Sunny Coast business is absolutely stunning - almost too pretty to eat! But these vegan treats are so delicious that it won't last long in our place! ... Happy Birthday babe! Hope the last week of celebrations has made turning the big 4-0 memorable for you! Let's hope lockdown is over by the time you turn 50 and we can actually have a party

09.01.2022 Had the most incredible week on our island holiday for Rich's birthday, spent the days snorkling with turtles, rays, sharks and beautiful fish! Woke up and watched the sunrise, sunbaked on the deserted beaches, had cocktails at sunset and stargazed at night! Feeling refreshed and looking forward to getting back to working on my biz. Super excited by what's to come, working with my new clients who signed up over the last week and all the new things I have planned over the next few months! I love what I have created and so grateful to be able to do what I am passionate about!

05.01.2022 So many people I know suffer through these issues and accept the symptoms as part of their life. This week I attended a health summit on GI Health and listened to hours of health experts talking about these issues. The ONE topic that came up time and time again across all their talks was DIET!!... These issues are largely diet related. Foods that cause inflammation such as meat, dairy, refined sugar and processed foods can cause and aggravate GI issues. The good news is sufferers of these issues can limit or even ELIMINATE their symptoms simply by increasing their fiber intake. I have seen it myself with my own clients! If you suffer, and I mean SUFFER through these issues.. send me a DM and I'll share some of the knowledge I learnt over the last week. You do NOT have to accept all the horrible symptoms that come along with these issues!

03.01.2022 This crazy lady is my mama! The first thing you need to know about her is she is 2 weeks short of her 72nd birthday .. don't be fooled, this photo was only taken the other day. Doesn't she look amazing?! ... The second thing you need to know is my mum is in good health, she exercises every day, she is always out and about and she hasn't had any major health issues. Most people would say our family has some pretty good genes. I could therefore assume that these genes will pass down to me and I will experience the same, right? Research actually indicates that lifestyle factors and diet play a much more significant role in our overall and long term health. Sure there are stories of someone's grandpa who smoked his whole life and died at the age of 95 - there will always be outlier cases. And stories like this often do the rounds so people can use it as an excuse to having a bad diet - believing that we DON'T have control of our health. But the simple fact is we do!!!
