03.01.2022 There are lots of negatives about getting old, but you don't need to let Arthritis be one of them! Arthritis is the degeneration of cartilage within a joint, with progressed arthritis being degeneration of bone. For the most part, these are NORMAL changes, like developing wrinkle on your face. You don't look in a mirror and instantly think, "gosh, that must hurt" so just because an x-ray tells you have arthritis, doesn't mean you should feel pain or this is the only source ...of your pain. This is good news! It means that you can do something about it. EXERCISE! Gentle and enjoyable exercise is the best way to reduce symptoms that we normally associate with Arthritis, like pain and stiffness. This could be as simple as walking or swimming. If you don't know where to start, come and have a talk with us and we can get you on track to being pain free and active!

02.01.2022 We get asked "What is an Exercise Physiologist?" way too often! An Exercise Physiologist is an expert in how the body will respond to exercise and how to exercise properly to reduce pain, get back to your normal life, improve health and even improve performance. A Physiotherapist can diagnose and treat mechanical injuries to reduce pain, promote and increase the rate of healing and begin returning the body to normal function after injury.... So who do you see? For management of conditions such as diabetes, chronic pain, arthritis, general weight loss, rehabilitation post injury or surgery and improved fitness, strength and performance - SEE AN EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST. For acute pain and injuries - SEE A PHYSIO If you need either, you can find both by clicking the book now button or calling 0423 676 626.

01.01.2022 Falls are the leading cause of injury for people aged over 65. But falls are PREVENTABLE with improved strength and balance! Aaron will be starting a class to help improve balance, strength and fitness through simple exercises. If you or someone you know could benefit from this, please get in contact through out social medias, via email at [email protected] or call 9589 2755.
