24.01.2022 Sydney sunset from the home of the VJ and VS. Vaucluse Yacht Club.

21.01.2022 Back in August 2019 we had the opportunity to see Fleetwood Mac for the third time. Back in March 1980 was the first time to see them in Sydney and then again in December 2009. They are still one of the best live bands I've seen and I've seen most. Neil Finn was a seamless fill-in for Lindsey Buckingham and none of them disappointed. Here's Mick taken with my Samsung Galaxy S10 which shows how good mobile phone photography is these days.

14.01.2022 In November 2018, The Great Whites held a benefit for former Sharks player Paul Fisher. Paul was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, a debilitating burden for Paul and his family to manage. Over 100 Former Players had a great afternoon of reminiscing at Taren Point Bowling Club where they scored 100 yard tries, threw lots of forward passes, kicked out on the full and landed every kick from the sideline. It was a great honour and pleasure to capture some great and wonderful memories o f that special day. Alas, Paul, aged just 51, succumbed to MND January this year and left his family and friends poorer for this loss.. Vale, our Mate Paul Fisher.

12.01.2022 A trip last year out west and the wonderful find of Ben Hall's Cave and surrounds. Incredible country and reliving some history from our near past.

09.01.2022 In the early sixties, the world was overcome by a pandemic of massive proportions. It arrived in Sydney in June 1964. The Beatles had arrived and touched down at Kingsford Smith Airport on a cold and wet day. Met by thousands of screaming fans who decided this outing was a better option than the school yard, they were quickly wisked away by a waiting car. The thin security presence was quickly overwhelmed by the throng and among them one young lady took to the mobile gangway to see where her idols had been sitting on their flight from Adelaide to Sydney. Now some 56 years later, that same young lady now just a bit older and wiser, again climbs that same motorised gang plank, this time at the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Museum at Albion Park Airport.
