23.01.2022 Another job complete. The car fridge / pannier storage box is done. I've used 2.5mm plate and same with equal angle to fabricate it. It is solid. :-) Thanks to the guys at Action Aluminium at Acacia Ridge for the supply of the alloy products and for cutting the plate to my exact sizes.

11.01.2022 A year ago our incredible adventure came to an end. 26 countries and 27,000 km's ridden through some of the world's greatest regions. It was very emotional dropping Beauty off for her return shipping in Felixstowe. For 160 days we were as one. We wouldn't see her again until January this year. We have felt restless and a bit lost since our return. But, our next adventure is getting closer and closer. We can't wait. :-)

10.01.2022 Remembrance Day. A day to remember those who have served and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Along with ANZAC Day, both are quite emotional days. Lest we forget. I joined the Navy at the tender age of 16 and served for 10 years. Also share my birthday with this significant day.

10.01.2022 310 km's today. We're a bit rusty. Thankfully all the stuff we've been so busy with is now behind us and we can get back to doing what we love. Headed over Glorious, to Fernvale, then out to Grandchester (great lunch at the pub), got Beauty dirty around Mt Mort to Tarome, then around a very dry Lake Moogerah, Boonah and back to home. Part of Ride 15 of our SEQ/NNSW book. :-)

Spirit of Tasmania can be booked for travel, without the need for quarantine, providing people transit direct through Victoria, only stopping for fuel. 08.01.2022 After a busy morning yesterday, doing final cleanup, dump runs and donations to charities, we finally set off. Three nights at Chinderah to hopefully let it sink in. We'll be making our way down to SA, spending a few weeks over the Christmas period down there. Will get the headboard sorted in Adelaide so Beauty can join us. :-)
