17.01.2022 ? Technique is crucial when it comes to your boxing workout. Not only does this apply to your boxing but to all movement you ...perform. ? Punching with correct technique will avoid injury. You may not feel 'sore wrists' now but repetitive strain from incorrect technique can lead to injury later on down the track. - Make sure you learn correct technique before you throw hard punches. Your trainer should always give you feedback on your technique. Without feedback how can you improve? - Ask your trainer if they are qualified in boxing? This is SUPER IMPORTANT! It may surprise you but there are trainers out there who teach boxing with no certification. - Wrap your wrists! I encourage all my participants to wrap before every class. This is an important skill I teach at the start of every boxing course. Wrapping helps support the wrists and knuckles. If you have boxed with and without them you will know the difference it makes.
