And, if you're wondering how the marvellous Thunderbird1 operates, we use cooking oil! Yep, that's right, cooking oil! Thunderbird1 is powered by a turbo charged diesel engine which runs on used cooking oil. We support local businesses by using their old cooking oil. This means each tour we run, is NOT releasing 360kg 430kg of CO2 into the atmosphere. It also means local businesses don't have to throw their used cooking oil away. It's a win/win. Win for small businesses supporting each other and a huge win for the environment.
