20.01.2022 Another Shepherd Universal Containment Facility nearly complete. The system contains an Automated On Demand mixing plant with Auto-start generator and 3 input silos. The feed line consists of 3 level sensing distribution bins and 3 x 21m solar auto feeders. The system was installed by the owner and it is good to see our products develop further in the field.

16.01.2022 The Shepherd Auto Feeder Passive Weighing System will be released in October. The new system attaches to the auto feeder. It counts and weighs each animal that walks on the platform and pushes the daily count and average weight to the mobile app and cloud. The data is then used to calculate the feed conversion efficiency using the feed consumption data also recorded. This system is a real game changer providing real time sample weights from the pen daily. The time saving is enormous. The platform can be fitted to all our Auto feeders and all other brands. There are two platforms, one on each side of the feeder for double the sample data. We have a demonstration system setup at The Shepherd Containment Complex in Temora. Happy to take visitors to see our display.

10.01.2022 Another new containment area nearing completion. It has 2 x 21m Solar Auto Feeders with a mixing/batching hopper in the middle. The hopper is connected to silos on the outside of the yard. Project is looking great and the customer has done a good job installing the equipment.
