25.01.2022 Unsure how to recycle your soft plastics? Don’t know where to take them? Our local Woolworths has a REDCYCLE bin which can be easy to miss. It is near BWS liquor entrance/exit next to the ice freezers.

17.01.2022 LOST PET IN THURGOONA Alley, became lost on Sunday night. She was spooked by an ambulance passing and ran away. She is a very timid cat and the family are concerned for her wellbeing. She might hopefully be around Mclaren Boulevard and Elizabeth Mitchell Drive in Thurgoona. Please contact Carl on 0422 043 049 if you have seen or found her.

15.01.2022 Krystal Kay is enjoying the great support she is recieving to help make her dream come true to supply 400 children in hardship with a Christmas Gift. This Saturday at Thurgoona Community Centre is her inaugeral Sewing Bee Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser supported by local businesses, AlburyCity, Thurgoona and District Lions and a small band of willing volunteers. The event is from 10am to 3pm with food on sale from 11pm to 2pm Games are organised for the kids at a cost of $5 per ...child which also includes a sausage and drink. Please note that Covid Safety plan is in place. Pleae don't attend if you are unwell. Social Distancing will be in place.

12.01.2022 AlburyCity is currently undergoing planning to establish a vision and strategy for the provision of mountain bike trails throughout the City including Thurgoona. As a first step they have developed a social pinpoint interactive map and rider survey, this will enable them to understand the local and broader riding community and get a picture of the preferred style and location of trails.
