25.01.2022 TPS P & C Christmas Raffle This year we have kindly had a TV donated from The Good Guys in Albury, so we have decided to hold a raffle. The TV will be first prize and then there will be 5 Christmas Hampers for the remaining prizes. These will each contain $100 gift vouchers for Lowe’s, plus items donated by families of the school. If you can make a contribution, please drop it into the office as outlined below. ... Tickets ($1 each) have gone home with the eldest child from each family. Extra books are available at the office. Please contact the P & C by email if you need more information [email protected] Raffle will be drawn on the 7th of December and winners contacted by phone. Thank you for your support.

21.01.2022 It was a very successful first session for Kindergarten transition today. Our new students met key staff during their visit and also enjoyed some hands on activities in the Kindergarten classrooms. We look forward to having them back again next week!

20.01.2022 We look forward to welcoming new and returning families to Thurgoona Public School for the 2021 school year. Students in Years 1-6 start on Friday 29th January. Returning students will commence the year in their 2020 classes and are to meet under the COLA at the beginning of the day for a brief assembly. ... New students will commence in the school hall. Kindergarten begin on Wednesday 3rd February.

20.01.2022 We wish all of our families a happy and safe festive season. Enjoy this special time with loved ones. Our school will close at 3:30pm on Friday 18th December and reopen at 8:30am on Wednesday 27th January 2021. Students in Years 1-6 will start on Friday 29th January and Kindergarten students will start on Wednesday 3rd February.

16.01.2022 Book Character Dress Up Day is on Monday 30 November 2020. Come to school dressed as a character from one of your favourite books. Book Fair starts on Monday 30 November. Students will be able to look at and purchase books during their usual library lesson time. Year 4, 5 and 6 are able to make purchases on Monday 11:45-12:15 and Friday 12:20-12:50. More about these events are in this week's newsletter.

08.01.2022 Welcome to our 2021 Kindergarten students who started their first transition visit to our school this morning. There were lots of happy smiles! Thank you to all of the parents/carers for following the COVID restrictions.

07.01.2022 This term, staff from the Murray Conservatorium of Music have been conducting workshops with our students. Students have been learning about various musical concepts and they have particularly enjoyed listening to and watching the staff from the Murray Conservatorium play various instruments. Thank you for such a great experience!
