15.01.2022 To all our valued customers - like us many of you are going to be doing it tough over the coming months and have no doubt already put measures in place to continue trading or have had to close your doors. Hopefully, for all of us this will be temporary. Thurlby will be running on a skeleton staff and will be in a position to fill orders as soon as they come in. Our phones and email will be answered. Given the demand for soap and the well-established anti-viral properties of tea tree, we have created a hand sanitiser moisture bar and soap which will be available in the coming weeks. 14.01.2022 Dear Friends of Thurlby Herb Farm In July 2018, we took ownership of Thurlby Herb Farm. It is a wonderful business with terrific staff. The products speak for themselves and the business is a credit to Penny and Kim Jewell who built the business over 30 years. Indeed, a visit to the cafe was our families first introduction to Thurlby many years ago. The business expanded some time ago to include the cafe which many of you will have been to and sampled the delicious food prepa...red there. However, it has become very obvious to us since owning Thurlby, the cafe, whilst a luxury and service to the community, does not have sufficient customers to warrant continuing opening. It is therefore with some sadness, we are advising you of our intention to close the cafe at Thurlby on Friday, 26th April. Over the Easter school holidays we will be selling off stock and have some talented musicians playing. So, if you do fancy a last coffee or lunch at the Thurlby cafe, we would be delighted to see you there. After the closure of the cafe, we will continue to sell Thurlby products from the farm door. We and the staff would like to thank the Walpole and wider south coast and southern forest community for their support of the Thurlby cafe over many years. 14.01.2022 School Holidays in Western Australia are from 23 September to 7th October. If you are exploring our beautiful town make sure you drop in for some delicious refreshments and let the kids burn off some energy exploring the gardens!
