We had the best time Friday night talking all things Easter Camp 2020 as part of this year’s small group team - We are so excited to see you... all in just over three weeks (and for our Australian Icons theme night!) . . 18.01.2022 As are fully aware the current virus affecting every aspect of our lives, also effects our recreation and camping. It has been a hard decision but Thuruna along with other UVSA camps is closed completely until further notice. Crying and getting upset wont improve the situation, but praying that Father God will shows scientists and others very quick simple ways of treatment, also praying for your communities safety and protection.

08.01.2022 Hello campers & friends, we’ve come to the sad yet obvious stage of needing to cancel camp for 2020. As always, the safety of our campers, community and leader...s is our highest priority. . . . Many thanks to our speaker Ben, small group leaders, cooks, camp volunteers and EP community for all their time and support - we feel like all the hard work for camp has been done and we’re sad to miss the best part of seeing you all enjoy it! But never fear! 2021 will be the year for camps and socialising with Thuruna Easter Camp returning again! . . . 07.01.2022 ONE. MORE. SLEEP. We are so so excited! As you pack your bags there’s a few things to remember to bring: - Pillow, sleeping bag or bedding... - Towel and toiletries - Bathers, towel and beach gear including hat and sunscreen (it’s going to be hot! ) - Pyjamas - Warm clothes (it will get colder at night!) -Australian Icons costume for our theme night! - Money for your registration . . If you have them, you can bring: - Morning tea to share (these can be given to the kitchen when you arrive) - A Bible, notebook and pen. . . Please don't bring anything valuable or breakable on camp.

Thurman Easter Camp is for 13-25 year olds to spend Easter at the beach with good food, friends and plenty of memories while hearing more about who God is and what that means for our world. 03.01.2022 tumby welcomes Woodcroft College Yr 9 Quest students This fortnight 56 year nine students are based at Thuruna Camp for their Quest outdoor education and pe...rsonal development camp. This is the second of 3 camps being run in succession. The camp involves: rock climbing orienteering swimming with sea lions mountain biking and a solo camp night We wish them all the best as they enjoy the lower EP and hope to see them all back again sometime!
