25.01.2022 Morning all. If your planning on going to Horn Island to catch a plane to Cairns or outer islands the ferry times have changed slightly for Rebels Ferry and McDonald Charter Boat. The morning run via McDonald from Thursday Island is now at 8.50am and the afternoon run via Rebel from Thursday Island is now 1.15pm. 15.01.2022 WOW! What a year it has been. Our first year as TI Motel Torres Strait has bought a lot of great changes under our Management. Fully renovated, all rooms have microwaves, 42inch TV, Foxtel and finally got our WiFi upgraded and working throughout the motel and that's just only a handful of improvements. With our commitment, loss of sleep, laughter, some tears and hard work we have created a haven to be proud of. A big shout out to Anna Sebasio, Velma David and Annie Garnier wh...o play a very important part in keeping the rooms clean and comfortable, we appreciate you all so much. 01.01.2022 Last Friday evening we were blessed with the delivery of baby girl Joan at TI Motel. Delivered by another guest Lina who rushed to Mum's side. No midwife or doctors just a room filled with love and wisdom. Such a humbling experience Mum Bobbie-Kay and baby Joan doing well and ready to head home.
