24.01.2022 A great quick read explaining the role of Exercise Physiology and how we can use our skills as EPs to help treat and manage an array of differing health concerns

23.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone! Today marked the reopening of public gyms and like lots of you over the past few months I have been trying to maintain my strength and rehabilitation routine in the confines of my home... Needless to say I was particularly excited about my return to the gym this afternoon and look forward to getting stuck into my training again! Fortunately at BSERC we have been able to continue running small group and one-on-one exercise physiology and rehabilitation ...sessions at our onsite facility. This has enabled us to keep our clients moving and on track to achieving wonderful results throughout such uncertain times. If you are looking for a tailored exercise program suited to your abilities, needs and exercise goals or some advice on how to safely return to activity send me a message, I would love to help you take the first steps to achieving your health goals!

23.01.2022 As of tomorrow everyone entering the clinic will be required to wear a mask, if anyone has any questions about what this means for them dont hesitate to contact us Together we can help slow the spread of this virus by adhering to the latest health guidelines and doing the right thing!

22.01.2022 Happy Monday Everyone! We have been constantly reviewing the advice from the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services and as of today, 20th July, all sta...ff will be wearing masks in the clinic. We also encourage you to wear a mask to your appointment. And as always please call us to cancel your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, temperature etc.)

18.01.2022 Over the last 12 months I have been completing my own injury rehab journey, with today marking 1 year since I ruptured my ACL on the netball court! The past 12 months has most certainly had its highs and lows. Injury rehab isnt always easy and like many others going through their own rehabilitation it is both a physically and mentally challenging journey. It is so important to recognize the psychological impact of injuries and address this as part of the rehab process in con...junction with the physical components! To everyone else going through their injury rehab, keep your head held high and continue working on achieving small goals one step at a time. Consistency is key, and the end result is worth dedicating your time and effort towards! Bring on the next few months of hard work, one more step closer to getting back into the sports I love

07.01.2022 This week marks National Diabetes Week with a focus on supporting the emotional and mental heath of all individuals living either directly or indirectly with diabetes. Did you know every day 250 Australians develop diabetes, equating to a staggering one person every 5 minutes! For every person diagnosed there is usually a family member or carer who is also impacted by this condition and lives with diabetes every day in a support role.... It is so so important to understand the impacts of diabetes, both physically and psychologically, and to know where to go for resources and help. Lifestyle changes such as diet modification and increased physical activity participation play an important role in assisting to manage the disease, as well as preventing the incidence of any diabetes related compilations. This week and always lets reach out to someone we know living with diabetes, ask how they are coping, lend a listening ear or a helping hand. With support and encouragement we can all work together to reduce the impact of diabetes! #NationalDiabetesWeek #NDW2020 #HeadsUpDiabetes #diabetesawareness #mentalhealth
