25.01.2022 Let me guess... all you go getters are writing down your New Year’s resolutions. Here’s the thing... did you know that 80% of people lose their resolve by mid-feb. Here may be a few reasons why:... 1) There is a difference between the words I should and I am going to regardless. You need to find your deep and powerful reason. 2) When shit gets hard, people quit. 3) A new year gives you another excuse to keep putting it off instead of starting it now. Here’s a few tips: 1) Let go of the I’ll do it tomorrow attitude. You have 30 seconds before your mind makes a choice. Do it now! 2) Write a list of need to do’s and write a list of want to be’s. For example, my own personal one is, I want to be that person that other people can depend on, make them laugh, and celebrate their wins and failures with. I want to be that person that lives their life to the fullest. You get the point. 3) Take action on them. You’re not going to get a result if you twinkle your nose and hope it will get handed to you. 22.01.2022 I get asked all the time... How did you start your own business? The answer, I just did. I mean, there is a lot more that you need to learn and I can help you shave years off of doing something that won’t work but the main thing is JUST START! This was my first company I started at the age of 27, landing some amazing contracts in PR, social media and website design. Super grateful for the outcome and result I got for other people success.... My first website I charged $450 just to get the experience and the reviews. I then worked my way up to holding monthly hosting costs and $2.5k per website plus add ons such as branding and logo design, where I found out how to hire subcontractors to get the work done without having to take it all on myself. And I taught myself how to do every bit of it. I didn’t go to school for web design. 18.01.2022 I left the corporate world... I left my comfy job in order to SERVE the WORLD in my HIGHEST GOOD for all people. He stalked me online and tried to use all of my personal portfolio work and grateness against me to try and get me fired! I remembered this mantra one of my old coaches gave me. 08.01.2022 Who here has ever indulged in self pity? When we do it, we think it will fix our problems. Trust me, no one is perfect. Even when I feel tired and exhausted, I fall into a hole of self pity.... But what does it do for us? It puts us in the backseat, not the drivers seat. It takes our power away, gives it to someone else and when it’s put in the hands of others, there’s a chance it will overt the path you want to be on because other people are providing answers that fit with them, not you. Allow complements in but don’t depend on them. Honour your feelings, they are always valid. Communicate your standards and invite in others to rise to them. 01.01.2022 A confident person: does what they believe is right, even if it’s unpopular is willing to take risks admits their mistakes and learns from them... is able to accept a compliment is optimistic. Accepts themselves and other people for who they are A lot of articles I read say things like celebrate you little wins, spend time of self-love, pick up a hobby to fix your self-confidence. But it takes much deeper work than that. Somewhere along the line, you learned that you couldn't trust yourself and that someone always knew better or did better than you. You have to unlearn what you thought you knew about yourself. Unlearn the behavior you have gained from what you thought was self-protection. And relearn what you do know about yourself and delve deep into why you aren't celebrating the little wins. Figure out the purpose of not taking time for yourself. For example, a few years ago, I would only celebrate my wins when other people would celebrate them for me. I though, if its good enough for them to celebrate, then I guess I can celebrate too. I was trying to celebrate what I thought other people wanted me to celebrate. Now I celebrate what makes me happy, who I connect with, what I learn, the journey that I am experiencing. Not the end goal itself, which I too will celebrate. I didn't have the intrinsic desire to celebrate something that didn't set me on fire. I was dependent on others to see in me what I couldn't see in myself. I was lost, sad, angry and I couldn't understand why. So I started doing the things that set me on fire. After I started doing the things I was always terrified to do , I started to see that my whole life, I have been scared of doing something that actually defines me. That makes me who I am! The person I thought wasn’t there, was actually there all along. I just hid her. Stop depending on other people to define who you are. Get quiet and stop seeking answers outside of yourself. You will be surprised what you find.

01.01.2022 Sometimes it’s not about our goals that we are striving for, but also the things we learned from the previous year that gives us self-awareness and growth. It's amazing what we can learn when we pause a moment, and instead of pushing forward without knowing where we have been, we miss the lessons that we were supposed to learn. Things I learned this year:... -Life isn't about chasing money, it's about experiencing and learning from life itself, the ups and downs. -People are dealing with their own stuff and most of the time, it has nothing to do with you, even if they blame it on you. -Forgiving yourself for all of your wrong doings is the best thing you could ever do for yourself. It allows you to understand that everyone does what they know how to do in order to survive, even if it is the "wrong" thing at the time. As long as you learn from them and do better next time. -Time is something you never get back. Use your time wisely and focus specifically on all the things that mean the most to you. -Connection isn't about surface level conversation. Connection is deeply caring about stepping into other people's worlds to understand and learn from them. -Do things you are terrified to do. You will learn to love life again. -Know when to let go of relationships that no longer serve who you want to be or become. It's hard to be the bad guy and you want to do what is noble, however, your mental health and well-being are more important. -Give what you want... If you want to be loved, love more. If you want a better relationship, be a better partner, if you want well behaved kids, behave well, if you want things to change, start by changing. - Being yourself allows other people to be themselves without feeling weird. So be as you as you can be -Honesty is a gift not a lot of people give.Honesty is something everyone seeks but may not be ready to handle it. Keeping in mind that everyone has their own opinion, be open to feedback and keep those people close. 2020 was one of the best years of my life... and 2021 will be even better Happy freaking New Year and May all your New Year wishes come true!
