12.01.2022 Recent Review from TA So much more than an airport stopover... excellent We booked a 1-night stay at Tibooburra B&B directly with Bronwen via the website. We were traveling back down from Cervantes and had an early morning flight to Exmouth the next day. Bronwen kept in touch with us by text and email and answered all the questions we had. The B&B is only 20 minutes or so from the domestic airport so well placed for us. Bronwen and Peter's home is immaculate and as we were t...ravelling just the two of us they did not book either of the other two rooms to ensure we did not share the bathroom - this is a great place to stay if you are travelling in a group or as a family. The room had everything we could possibly need and there was even a kitchen where we could make hot drinks and help ourselves to a cookie. The bed was very comfortable and the shower powerful with plenty of hot water - this along with a good wifi signal are some of the things I consider important in accommodation! After a warm welcome Bronwen gave us a tour of the garden which would easily win an RHS medal in the U.K.! All native plants and with plenty of feeding places for the birds - we saw Galahs in the trees but missed out on seeing the local kookaburras. We met the two resident native ducks as well. There is a lot to see in this area and unknown to us there are some excellent vineyards as well, which saves a long drive down to the Margaret River area. We were treated to a brilliant cooked breakfast beautifully cooked, all hand made and completed with edible flowers. We were so full that we really did not need any more food until the evening. Do check out the toaster - it literally is like something out of Star Trek! We were very sorry to leave and now realise that Tiboobarra B&B Kalamunda is so much more than simply a place to stop over to catch a flight. Thank you so much Bronwen and sorry to have missed you Peter (we were so tired we went to bed early!). Emma and Colin UK
