The Saddlefitter Brisbane CDN key team members m...et via ZOOM with the executive and management of Equestrian Queensland this morning to discuss the COVID-19 situation in the Greater Brisbane area. Key points discussed: The event is proceeding as planned 16-19 September 2020. Site population will be strictly limited to 500 persons. All riders, groom/support staff, sponsors, traders, accredited media and officials will issued with colour coded wrist bands, officials and media will also be issued with lanyards. Access to controlled areas within the venue designated by the wristband and lanyard. Spectators WILL NOT be allowed in the camping and stable compound COVID Social distancing, square meterage and social gathering protocols will be strongly encouraged Additional cleaning resources have been engaged to clean amenities and all high touch point areas over and above the specifications required in our approved plan. Hand sanitiser will be freely available throughout the venue. A complementary bottle of hand sanitiser will be provided in the riders entry bags. Access to stable and camping areas will be restricted to competitors, approved groom staff and approved officials. Entry and exit to the entire venue will be controlled and the Nominate QCode scanning system will be in operation capturing key COVID safe information. 03.01.2022 Included in the next Beaudesert Cattle Sale 19/9/20 1 x Purebred (Unregistered) Droughtmaster Herd Bull. Vendors Comments:... Grey Gum 022 is offered as an unregistered purebred herd bull. He was born 9/9/18 to the D5 Sylvan Springs Flamenco 889, a well-bred cow sired by RSVP Excalibur, whose sire is one of the most influential in the Droughtmaster breed, Swan 609. We have owned her 3 years and she has produced a calf every 12 months, with her next calf due now. 022 was intended to be retained in our breeding program, but due to not being able to identify his true sire, we now offer him for sale. His Dam was purchased in calf from the dispersal of the Wirraway Stud at the end of 2017. He was undoubtedly sired by a Wirraway Bull but the correct sire cannot be determined due to lack of sample tissue to compare to. 022 has grown and performed better in daily weight gain than bull calves sired by Rocky View 714 and Ianbrae Mr Wrinkles who were of similar age and raised at the same time. He has been grass fed throughout his life and supplemented with forage sorghum silage during dry periods. He is a good natured bull who goes where you ask and is educated and cooperative in the yards. He has been tested by Zoetis and is Pesti and Pompes Free. He is also confirmed to be Homozygous Polled (PP); meaning he will never produce a horned calf. He was weighed and measured on September 7th at 765kg and 41cm Scrotal.
