21.01.2022 After coming 2nd in class at Finke this year, we’ve had Simon Tucker’s 1650 in for a freshen up and a Dyno tune! It is all set for Wynarka in a few weeks time! Next up is the Mckay Jimco to sort out some electrical gremlins that took them out of Finke this year, but we will have it sorted for Wynarka too! If anyone needs any mechanical/electrical or Dyno tuning done before an event feel free to send us a message!

19.01.2022 Today was the end of an era as we said goodbye to the beloved Tickner Motorsport Super-1650. It has had a great run for the past 19 years and a lot has been accomplished in between from state titles to national titles as well as a whole lot of fun. It is sad to see it go but looking forward to seeing what the new owners have in store for it & still seeing it out on the track!... A big thank you to our sponsers over the years; Maxxis Tyres, Penrite Oil and Port Adelaide Auto Repairs as well as the racing community. It has been a great sport that has brought our family a lot of joy and memories with some great weekends away together and countless hours in the shed. Thank you to everyone who has supported and followed us over the years. We hope to be back on the track sometime in the future. Enjoy some throwback photos below! 11.01.2022 What a great result for Finke 2019! First off, it is great to see Rhodes Racing come out on top this year! Well done boys! And it is just as equally great to see the #220 buggy finish second in class! We took a lot of time and care to prep this buggy for it’s new owners debut at Finke & we are so glad it all paid off and it made it to Finke and back! Well done to Simon and Kyle, a great effort considering it was your first time out on that intense track! Look forward to seeing what else you guys can achieve in the buggy!
