14.01.2022 The TICS team has been busy on back to back shutdowns in PNG. The Inspectors & Techs have been busy doing a variety of work covering Pressure Vessel Inspections & Tank Inspections, PT, UT, MT and PAUT welds and corrosion mapping. It has been a tough shut but the team has not slipped on quality and safety. Well done Team!

The...re's: - Dust over inland areas of Southeast Queensland - Smoke from massive bushfires over central eastern Queensland - Severe storms over tropical Queensland - Clearing storms off the coastline from NE NSW & SE QLD - Complex multi-centred low over central east to northeast NSW - Gale force winds to nearly 90km/h with catastrophic fire dangers over parts of the southeast quarter of Queensland - Flash flooding and gales over the central NSW coastline with cold temperatures As mentioned before, in my nearly 20 years of forecasting here at Weatherwatch I've never seen anything like this system. The good news is that it will clear very quickly tomorrow and the crazy weather conditions from today should ease quickly tomorrow.
