03.01.2022 The Tidal 21 has been put through her paces. Building a hull isnt just about being able to handle the blue water. She has to turn smoothly at all speeds, not list to one side or the other or porpoise while underway. She must sit level at rest, require no trim tabs or cav plate foils to get on plane.... If a hull can do the basic tasks, then she will handle the blue water regardless. The 21 which has pedigree lines from our 24, has a knife sharp entry of 58 degrees variable to 21 at the transom, though we have modified the running surface, all new shear line and less freeboard. She still has over 700mm freeboard at the transom, and 800 up forwards.
