24.01.2022 It’s official! I passed woohoo! . A massive THANK YOU to everyone that has cheered me on, encouraged me and boosted me up when I needed it most! Thank you to everyone who has shared my page, liked my work and chosen me to capture their special moments! And an even bigger shoutout to my biggest supporter, Matthew Reid for everything he has done and does do to support me everyday! I can’t tell you the amount of times I sat crying telling him that I was going to quit, that I ...couldn’t manage it all, teaching full time and studying, and everytime he’d listen, give me a hug and then tell me I was crazy, assure me that he believed in me and that I could do it (often making me repeat I can do it a hundred times) and then telling me he would do everything in his power including making dinners, lunches, cleaning the house and doing the washing, anything that would help me get my assignments done, and that he did! My golly I would not have made it without him! . Now to see where the road takes me See more

23.01.2022 Hi everyone, I just wanted to reach out and say that I’m sorry I have been very M.I.A over the past few months. My family and I have had a very hard time coming to terms with the sudden passing of my Dad. For this reason, I will not be able to deliver any 2020 calendars in time for Christmas. I am very sorry for this but thank you for your understanding in this situation! I hope to be back behind my camera in the new year!

22.01.2022 As part of my last photography assignment I was required to create a portfolio of work. I decided to display my portfolio through a website. At this stage, it is nowhere near complete and does not have it's own domain name however IT IS PUBLISHED! . So if you're interested, head over and take a look! I'd love to hear any feedback you might have to tweak or improve it! Any feedback is helpful in my opinion!! https://tidetogether.wixsite.com/tidetogether

22.01.2022 Our next big adventure..... Little Miss Reid arriving June 2020 Due to our little ray of sunshine arriving in June and me being completely exhausted from teaching full time, I will be taking a break from my portrait photography but will continue to enjoy taking landscape photos in my spare time

21.01.2022 This will forever be one of my favourite photos I’ve ever taken! Other than the fact I love the shell & the bubbles but for the memories that link me to it It was a beautiful sunny afternoon in Edithburgh, the first trip after buying my macro lens. I went for a big walk on the beach at Sultana Point with my Dad. He walked with Buddy throwing the ball while I found all sorts of funny spots & positions in the dunes and by the water to test out my lens! I remember him seeing... this shell by the waters edge and suggesting I take a photo of it never imagining I’d be able to capture the bubbles quite like this. Dad had a love for photos and photography abit like me and would love to look through them with me once we’d gotten home I remember him seeing this photo and thinking it was pretty spec! One of the many adventures I remember with Dad, at Edithburgh with my camera around my neck Grant Gripton See more

10.01.2022 If you’ve been following on my photography journey you probably know by now that my favourite landscapes to photograph are beaches . After being away in Beachport a few weekends ago I got my poor, dusty camera out for some fun! I’m feeling inspired to to let the creative side of Jess out again & looking into creating an Etsy store where some of my landscape photos will be able to be purchased.....keep your eyes open in the next few weeks if you’d like a piece to put up somewhere in your house And in the meantime here is one of the sunsets I was lucky enough to play with
