19.01.2022 Help the campaign to #LoveThisPlace #LeaveNoTrace if you're enjoying this summer weekend. Litter is a blight which affects wildlife and scenery, so please enjoy the outdoors and bring any rubbish home.

11.01.2022 Further to post earlier this week regarding the holding of a deferred County Clean up in conjunction with KWD on Saturday 25th July next , KCC has issued the following UPDATE : KWD have now decided not to proceed with the event . Having further considered the current public health advice and the most current information available regarding the Covid 19 pandemic , in the interests of safety and public health , it has been decided not to proceed with the deferred County Clea...n Up this year . We hope to be able to recommence the County Clean up in April 2021 , depending on the public health situation at that time , and look forward to engaging with all communities at that stage . For this year unfortunately , while we would have liked to be able to proceed , public safety is paramount and we have taken the difficult decision not to have a county clean up this year based on the most up to date available public health advice. We hope to be back in touch with you for a 2021 event .
