I’ve had a few no shows this week so want to chat about that, if you can’t make an appointment please let me know as I often have a cancellation list going. It’s not hard to cancel your confirmation email has a link to do so. Small businesses are a solo mission so we depend on you turning up on time and for your booking so please pay us the courtesy to let us know if your sick, running late and or can’t make it!! At this stage I’ve still got a small gap between clients to minimise people in the studio and to allow time to clean. I am filling up super quickly at the moment so don’t delay in booking ahead. 04.01.2022 We’re playing it safe in these times and keeping you in mind every step of the way. With this, Onwards MINI-MART is now aiming for September! . . Three Saturda...ys ago was booked to be our first Onwards MINI-MART. We had an epic line up of local vendors in the form of art, illustration, ceramics, botanicals, coffee and the best damn sandwiches in the state! An event to bring great numbers and support for these creative businesses. We aimed to keep it small for the first one to keep everyone safely at a distance. . . Scheduled to be announced five days before the event, we decided to postpone it that day after seeing the COVID-19 spike in Victoria. Even with the most epic lineup to kick it all off, we feel the safety of everyone and stopping the spread is more important right now. . . We’d prefer to be known as an event and creative space considering more than regulation/restrictions provided by the government. A space that thinks about your safety and wellbeing rather than building hype and ignoring risk like other venues we are noticing in Newcastle. . . So, for now the Onwards MINI-MART is postponed but please keep those applications coming. When we kick it off, you’ll regret not having connected with us sooner to lock in your vendors stall. Email us at [email protected] and we’ll be in touch soon. . . Exhibitions, however, will be back very soon. We’ll have new staffing measures and a strict registration process in place to keep you safe and enjoying a comfortable visit in our new-look venue. @patmavety.art and @rosie_turnerx will be gracing our walls in August.
