21.01.2022 If I say to you Evil Knievel’ what images come to your mind? ‘Icon? Egomaniac? Legend? Tragedy? However you think of him, he certainly made an impression of some sort upon us all. For Richard, he has chosen to remember Evil Knievel by embracing his style in a custom Jacket. Then choosing to tour a country already so full of colour that normally it would be a challenge to stand out unless you were wearing the white Jacket with the legendary stars that even in Singapore garners recognition.

21.01.2022 The Tiger Angel Team wishes a very happy and safe Christmas holidays and New Year celebrations to all their Facebook friends and clients. Please remember that half the drivers on the road at this time are: Sleepy from drinking, Sleepy from eating too much,... Distracted by their bored and sugar high yelling kids Or plain impatient with the driving antics of the above group and about to do something rash! So please ride patiently and safely over the next couple of weeks so when some level of sanity returns we can enjoy riding in the New Year. See more

19.01.2022 Taking Care of your TA’s :Tip#1 Hang them! An accumulation of sweat, body oils and exterior sources (and sauces) will all add to the unclean state of your gear through it’s life (but we will talk about washing them later,) ... The best and easiest way to stay in a state of social acceptability and not be found standing with a 2m circumference around you in a crowded bar is when you are not wearing your bike gear, hang them up. Both the Leather and Fabric we use are breathable products and need to have air flowing around them. Particularly if it has been a hot day or a sweaty track/race session, stripping off your leathers and stashing them in a synthetic sports bag or in a pile in the back of the van or your bedroom is a guaranteed way to get them very stinky, VERY quickly! When storing for longer periods place jackets on a broad well shaped hanger ( I confess that I use a well padded, crocheted CWA crafted hanger but it certainly does the trick!) and pants on a proper pants hanger (or folded at the knees over a straight wooden hanger again for me CWA crafted! Clever girls those CWA women!!), in a breathable Tiger Angel suit bag. The suit bag we offer is also fully breathable so it is safe to hang your leathers inside this to keep them clean from other things around them as well as allowing air flow. And lastly please take a moment to think of our noses here at Tiger Angel. To repair your leathers we have to get very close them..pwoar!! Please have MERCY!

16.01.2022 When you ask a rider what we use a full leather suit for, most people will say trackday riding. But did you know that we also make leather suits for all of these motorsports as well: Superkart, Dirttrack, Super Motard,... Nitrus Drag, Sidecar, Stunt/trick riding, Land Speed And downhill luge. While initially they look the same, customised tailoring makes the suit specific to their use and a correct fit ensures the rider freedom to pursue their discipline without having one of the most intrinsic safety items at their disposal intrude on their performance. It allows them to push their limits knowing that there is a safety net that will at least keep their essential outer shell whole. See more

15.01.2022 From one of our happy clients: Erin Okonek has just started land speed racing. This is her second year racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA. She currently holds the AMA record 1350cc MPS-AG at 215.356 mph. Her next goal is to take the FIM record. Erin is a high achiever so I'm sure she will take the FIM record. In her past, she was an Olympic level weight lifter. She currently works on the North Slope of Alaska in the oil field.... She loves her Tiger Angel leathers, and hopes to get a new set soon!

11.01.2022 It may have seemed that our Facebook page has been unpopulated by no one but the whistling wind and a some passing tumbleweeds over the past few months. But listen closer as all we can hear at this end is the frenzied revving of a whole lot of busy sewing machines making what we do best. (Besides, we are not allowed to rev the bike inside the factory.) So we have been heads down and bottoms up as the season for being out on the bike gets everyone donning their leathers and ...heading for the hills. Because we all enjoy doing that ourselves, please remember that we do not hang out here preferring to be out THERE so please refer all of your questions and enquiries to our website. 10.01.2022 RIP Marco Simoncelli! He was the new Young blood full of promise with mad skillz that I thnk we were all looking forward to seeing his progress over the next few years. A lovely guy, lovely character and awesome hair. He will be missed!

08.01.2022 Taking Care of your TA’s :Tip#2 Recently I was a given a timely reminder to keep my wits about me when on the bike. Being tired and impatient one evening when leaving work, a now removed part of my brain thought it was a good idea to lane split through moving traffic around a corner between a cement truck and a van. My rear wheel clipped the front wheel of the turning truck and it was only by sheer luck that I was able to steady the bike in such a cramped place and come out u...nscathed. Needless to say after calling myself foolish, lacking in brain function and others words that are unprintable as it certainly scared the s%#@ out of me. Which brings me to our next handy tip: Clean them! (for our Standard Leather) Cleaning the surface of leather: We recommend Mothers Leather Cleaner. Working on an area about 30cm x 30cm at a time, moisten the leathers with the leather cleaner. Gently rub off any soiling with a clean rag. For more ingrained dirt, I often use an old toothbrush or a used soft nylon brush ie: a nail cleaning brush or something similar near the end of it’s life and softened suitably. If necessary use another dry rag to remove any residual cleaner. Then move on to the next area You may also use a mild solution of pure soap (we recommend Grangers Extreme Cleaner*) and water instead of Mothers leather cleaner. Cleaning the Leather: As a rule, due to the labour intensive process cleaning your leathers at home and the level of care required, rather than try to instruct you here, as the process is fraught with the potential to destroy your leathers, we are recommending you use a professional cleaner who is used to dealing with leather. Our preference is Penguin Drycleaners here in Melbourne. They are pretty fantastic! We have experienced examples of foreign substances like blood and sea water infusing into the leather, requiring them to be sent to a professional as quickly as possible. But also at that wiffy stage, a good thorough clean that only a drycleaner can achieve will do wonders for your suit. Be very careful about the drycleaners you send your leathers to. Be absolutely sure that they KNOW how to clean leather not just suede surface cleaning.

08.01.2022 RIP Jeremy Bowdler - Editor in Chief of Two Wheels Magazine, passed away last night. A genuinely lovely bloke who will leave a very tall, unfillable space in the motorcycle fraternity. Our condolences go out to his wife and two girls and to all who had the pleasure to know him. He will be deeply missed.

07.01.2022 I know this is another Raven profile but Denis looks so good in it that we couldn’t resist! Obviously when our clients choose a Raven Jacket, they love them so much they can’t wait to write home about it and send us photos!

02.01.2022 Julians Lynx 2 Special. Is a very special suit indeed! For a man in love with all things MV Agusta and a complete Agostini enthusiast, his leathers are a very good representation of his passions. Incorporate that beautiful bike of his and he is a vision that has caught many an eye at the track and many of our clients have mentioned spotting him out and about living his dream!! His leathers are a thing of beauty and worthy of the Italian bike they were designed to be paired with.
