25.01.2022 Christmas Party! Our last class for the year will be on Wednesday the 16th of December. This combined junior and senior class will start at 5:30 and finish at approx 7pm. Food and drinks will be provided and lots of games! All students are asked to wear uniforms as per normal. Parents are welcome! No alcohol permitted...sorry !

24.01.2022 Congratulations to all who graded yesterday. Special mention to Kyla who received the Tiger medal for best performance. And also to Nathan who earned his black belt. Both Nathan and his father Dion are amazing students and it’s great to see that black belts run in the family!!!

15.01.2022 Meet our Black Belts ! Drew has been training at our club for many years and has developed into a tough and formidable taekwondo fighter. He has competed at local and state championships and in 2017 won the u15 Australian full contact championship in Sydney for his weight class. 2019 is his final year at high school and he hopes to join the defence force once he finishes. Drew also enjoys teaching younger students his favourite kick (side kick) and who knows? Maybe in the future we will have more aust champs like drew!! Photo: Drew on the left with Andrew.

The school has been very supportive, but we are still waiting for the dept of education to allow us into the hall. As soon as I have an update I will let you know. I will keep you all updated ! 12.01.2022 Winners are grinners! On the weekend Patrick Johnson competed at the latest round of AMAC. He won point sparring and placed in freestyle sparring. Well done to Patrick! Team Tiger!

07.01.2022 Were back baby !!! Training starts back as per normal tomorrow night. The Qld Govt today announced that stage 2 has been bought forward to tomorrow at 12noon, meaning we can now resume training. Junior class at 5:30 and Senior at 6:15. See you all then ! Instructor Jaden
07.01.2022 Virus Update. As you are all aware, we have modified our training and stopped all personal contact while training due to the corona virus. I have also had some parents enquire weather we will stop training all together. To answer this question, I have decided to follow the Qld education dept and continue our training. Should schools close, then we will follow suit. Please message me or see me at class should you need further information. Thank you instructor Jaden

05.01.2022 Training Resumption Update: Hello Tiger Family ! I hope everyone is okay and doing well. I cant wait to get back to training !! As you are all aware, the federal govt will outline this Friday our 'way out' of restrictions and this will include sport. From my research, the govt will follow the Aust Inst of Sports Covid-19 Framework which is great news for all of us. This should mean we will be able to resume training very soon with some restrictions. If you want to read t...his framework I have included the link below. It includes Taekwondo and our levels of restrictions which should be minor. We are currently at Level A, and after this Friday, we should be going to Level B. 03.01.2022 Notice to all Tiger TKD Students: Unfortunately The Australian govt have issued a directive that stops us using the school hall to train in. I have checked with the school and they confirmed that we are unable to continue. I am frustrated by this as we all are, but our safety comes first. The school have been very helpful and I appreciate their support. I also want to thank all our black belts for their continued support, much appreciated. All we can do is hope this is short lived, and we can get back to training ASAP. This is effectively immediately, there will be no training tonight. Thank you very much.
