19.01.2022 Kindergarten have thoroughly enjoyed the amazing experience of 'Storytelling' which was provided to them by Lillian Rodriguez-Pang. Lillian told the students 3 engaging stories from around the world. Students listened, joined in moving and dancing and became immersed in the whole experience.

17.01.2022 Dear Kindergarten Parents We warmly invite you to attend our Literacy Workshops to explain Reading and Writing in Kindergarten as well as offering some ideas that may be helpful for home activities to support student learning. We will meet together for a brief introduction then move through ... 3 x 15min small group sessions: THRASS in our Literacy programme: Debbie Pastro Fine Motor Skills and Writing: Effie Duncan Reading in the classroom & home reading: Virginia Herraman Kindergarten Literacy Workshop will be held: On: Wednesday 6th April, 2016 (last week of term) At: 4.45 to 6.00 pm Beginning in KH classroom and then rotating through each Kindergarten room. There is a note coming home this week in your child's diary with a response form for you to return to your child's teacher. We look forward to seeing you on the 6th. Virginia Herraman

13.01.2022 Thank you, parents for your attendance at last night's Meet the Teacher Night. Don't forget you can find comprehensive notes about all of the topics we covered briefly last night on OLLE. Click on the green tiles marked Parent Information notes. Then click on the blue words 'click here' which will take you to the PDF of the document. From there you can download & print it for your information or read it online. Home Reading Folders & Rhyme books will be sent home on Monday afternoon. Please return the reading book in its folder on Wednesday for changing. Record the book your child reads in the diary. The book will be an unfamiliar text so please discuss the pictures & read it to your child first before they try. Return the Rhyme book to school each Friday. Kind regards Virginia

11.01.2022 Our first week of 'Big School' is a memory and our wonderful Kindergarten students are settling in really well. Our Teddy Bear's Picnic was a great success. Strong bonds of friendship have been forged with Year 5 Buddies.

06.01.2022 Kindergarten students have been investigating maps. They have explored the school site connecting places on a map with places in real time. Students have been using the map in the back of their school diary. They have also drawn their own map of the Playlawn area. The alphabet letter hunt on the buildings around the school was great fun!
