24.01.2022 We have some stunning feature maples in the nursery at the moment - including the Coral Bark Maple (Acer palmatum 'Sango Kaku'), 'Bloodwood' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Bloodwood') and the cutleaf Acer palmatum dissectum 'Crimson Wave'. Keith. #inthenursery #maples

24.01.2022 If you're looking forward to enjoying lots of fresh, hand-picked produce later in spring and summer then this weekend is a great time to start filling up the veggie garden. We have a big range of fresh seedlings in stock including basil, capsicum, chives, corn, coriander, cucumbers, lettuce, pumpkins, zucchini, chillies, eggplants and lots of different tomatoes. 18.01.2022 Fruit trees have been very popular this year but we currently still have some trees in stock. We have limited numbers of pears, plums, peaches and apples available (all potted plants) - so if you're looking to add any of these to your garden drop in soon as there will be a slight gap now before the next batch arrive in late spring. We also have a handful of avocados in stock now and are expecting another delivery next week - avocados generally require a cross pollinator so you may need two different varieties if you don't already have one in the garden. 16.01.2022 Hosta 'Golden Tiara' flowering in the nursery. This is a Hosta usually grown for its attractive foliage but it also features purple blossoms in spring/summer. A good option for a shady spot in the garden - or a container plant. Keith. #inthenursery #hostas

13.01.2022 Rudbeckia subtomentosa (Sweet Coneflower or Sweet Black-eyed Susan) is a herbaceous perennial featuring bright yellow flowers across the warmer months and into autumn. Deadheading spent flowers encourages additional blooms - cut flowers also keep well. Just one of the new perennials that arrived in the nursery last week. Limited numbers available (and going fast!) 02.01.2022 Euphorbias are hardy perennials that are an ideal option for adding striking structural foliage and texture to any garden or pot. Many interesting foliage colours and patterns are available - with some varieties (like 'Ascot Rainbow' and 'Rudolph') also changing colour across the seasons.
