25.01.2022 We need your help! Businesses across the NSW south coast which have been fortunate to survive the fires are now suffering and communities are hurting. We have 2...2 lovely little businesses which rely heavily on tourist income. They particularly rely on this to get through the crucial Christmas/New Year and January ‘summer’ holiday period. Due to this year’s bushfire threat, we’ve lost a whole summer of crucial income. On top of this, locals are exhausted. Many were evacuated up to 5 times in as many weeks, some for days at a time. Some returned home to nothing. Despite this, the resilience and positivity shown by most people in the area is truly unbelievable. It’s Aussie spirit at it’s finest and it makes us very proud. We want to help local people and local businesses and we’re asking for your help. We are asking if our friends and family around the world would purchase 22 gift vouchers each worth $50, one voucher for each of our businesses, for donation to a raffle for our locals. We will sell raffle tickets in the pub and do the draw at the pub, so 22 local people can receive a nice treat to spend in a shop or café in Tilba. The money raised from the raffle will be donated to locals who’ve been directly impacted by the fires. We are asking for a one-off donation of AUD$50 (or USD$35 or GBP30 or Euro35) only! If you would like to support this little fundraiser, we’d be so grateful! Please email us at [email protected] or message us on FB or insta and we will send you our bank details. We know many people around the world are keen to support fire-affected communities. This is a very special place. We hope we can help it keep its character and continue to play an important role in the local and regional economy. If you’ve never been to Tilba, check out www.visittilba.com.au and you will see why we are so anxious to keep it alive! Thank you!!!! See more

21.01.2022 Set in six lush acres of the Tilba countryside, come relax and unwind in the contemporary surroundings of Tilba Coastal Retreat. In June 2018, just 8 short mont...hs after getting married in beautiful Central Tilba, they packed up their one bedroom apartment and city lifestyle in the heart of the Sydney CBD, and moved to paradise! With their two dogs, Tilly and Tana, they couldn’t be happier, and are thrilled to be living on this beautiful property filled with spotted gum trees, natural dams, rolling countryside and great views out to the Tasman Sea. The property is only a couple of kilometres from the historic National Trust village of Central Tilba, River Cottage Australia, and the scenic beaches of Mystery Bay which can be accessed by either a short drive, cycle or a relaxing walk. If it's a one nighter, weekend getaway or week long stay, their eco-aware, architect designed holiday house offers two separate accommodation offerings, The Spa and The Residence (for larger groups of up to 8 guests, the whole house can be booked). The third accommodation option is The Orchard which features a king sized bed in the detached cottage set beside our small orchard. As with all tourism businesses on the South Coast, it's been a tough Summer, but out of the kindness of their hearts Greg and Carrie offered their two bedroom 'Residence' to one of our Tilba Real Dairy employees' and her family, who lost their Cobargo home in the bushfires. We would like to express our gratitude for their generosity during a time when everyone is hurting and recovering. Thank you Greg and Carrie! 10.01.2022 Happy World Plumbing Day everyone!

09.01.2022 So many of our businesses in Narooma, Tilba, Bermagui and surrounding areas rely on the seasonal holiday trade. Without this income many people in this community are going to face tough times. One way you can help them is just come and visit - you’ll find this area is beautiful all year round.
