10.01.2022 How Sunday’s should be spent. With my boys and my beautiful wife, down by the water, catching some light from our guardian angels. I had the worst anxiety this morning for no reason whatsoever, but a dip in the salt water, laughs from my little fella and a kiss from the boss kicked my anxiety out of the park. I was medicated for my anxiety for years, but I decided to go off them cold turkey at the end of last year. Breathing, positivity, time with your loved ones and a dip in... the ocean works wonders for me. There’s plenty of people in the world now that are struggling with anxiety. These are my strategies when dealing with it. It’s ok to struggle up the top and it doesn’t make you any less of a man to speak your truths. 02.01.2022 One of my favourite projects to date. Not a fan of laying encaustics or cement tiles anymore. Too many defects in the tile. I’ve pre sealed, post sealed etc but I’ve never been 100% satisfied with the end result. In saying that, these wet areas turned out stunning. Great clients to deal with. Walked them through the process each step of the way and they understood the limitations of the install. I’m often my worst critic, which I’m okay with. I’m fortunate that I have a good ...network of tradesman who are better and more experienced then myself. You’re never too good to ask questions.
