01.01.2022 A FOLDING SHIPPING CONTAINER - HUH? In the world of inter-modal logistics lots of containers end up in places where there is no cargo to ship back. The solutiondesign a folding container that can be compacted to a quarter of it original size. Then make sure that four together can be shipped back as a unit, taking up the same space of one ‘regular’ one. And of course that ‘pack-of-four’ has to have the same dimensions, structural integrity, weight and robustness of the stand...ard container. Simple idea, but a complex engineering problem to solve.
