23.01.2022 Recently I purchased Bill Henson's 'Sic Transit' book (@stanleybarkerbooks). I was inspired by its wonderful colours and shading, as well as Canberra-based artist Lori Cicchini's work with this same beautiful model, Saskia, in her ethereal series of water-based images, I dug into my archive and offer up this detail of an image I made with Saskia back in Sydney, 2017. Lit by a single vintage-style filament light bulb. I hope 2021 brings you all something more refreshing and restorative than the drenching by 2020. Take care.

20.01.2022 Corfe Castle in Dorset. It was built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, overrun during the English Civil War and then destroyed in 1645. Today it remains a crumbling wreck, but that which is left stands proudly on the hill overlooking the village of the same name.

18.01.2022 Recently I was engaged to record the spring flourish of a beautiful garden, for posterity. This particular tree - Eastern Redbud (Ceris Canadensis) - caught my eye, with it’s strength of colour and twisted branch. Just magnificent. #garden #trees #easternredbud #cerciscanadensis #flowers #spring

17.01.2022 New Years eve on the partially flooded Port Meadow, with the orange glow emitted by the sodium vapor streetlights melting into the mist on the meadow.

15.01.2022 It's taken longer than I hoped, but today my updated & expanded website has gone live. Like all good websites, it's a work in progress. I'll be adding more in the coming weeks. So if you have a few minutes, jump on it & let me know what you think. http://timanger.com.au

13.01.2022 Sitting high atop a chimney, surveying the neighbourhood.

13.01.2022 Staring into the dark in the hours before the clock ticked over from the year that was 2020. I fear the darkness of 2020 will haunt us for some many months to come. But, there is light in the distance.

12.01.2022 It's always lovely when you dive deep into your archives and find something you'd missed. From the archives, people dancing in Place de la République, Paris on a warm summer evening back in 2015.

07.01.2022 As part of our preparations for moving across the seas to Oxford later this year, I have created a short slideshow of reportage style images so I can apply to news photo agencies, as the one I was with while in France no longer exists. Below is a link to that slideshow, which has a short CV below with links to a few of my previously published images. http://timanger.com.au/project/reportage/

04.01.2022 As I churn through my archive in the process of updating my website, I came across this from 2015. French actor/producer/chicken Rôtisseur Sylvain Icart.
