24.01.2022 We loved our stay at Timbalah. It is a relaxing country venue for walking, backyard cricket, and hanging out with friends. Nikki is a fantastic host, answering queries quickly and making sure you have everything you need for your stay. There is a caretaker in the cottage behind the property who ensures you always have firewood. I would recommend this property for groups such as family celebrations. Timbalah is a unique property. As soon as we arrived, we felt relaxed and on h...oliday. This was partly due to the unique architecture and open living space. The living area is expansive with two lounge areas ( one including a billiard table,) a dining area, kitchen and a lovely section with books, games and an old piano. All the essential cooking utensils were provided- even a coffee maker. There are three bedrooms separated from the living area by a door, which is handy as the living areas do echo due to the high ceilings and open plan living spaces. A great place to relax was on the very comfortable lounge near the open fire. The backyard is big enough for a game of backyard cricket and has a spa. The interior was very clean and there were ample towels. Despite the high ceilings, the home was very warm and cosy. The property is located a very short walk from the Western rim track of Fitzroy Falls which leads to quite a few lookouts and stunning views of the Falls. We were sure to bring lots of grocery supplies as the nearest grocery store is about 25 minutes away. The property is very close to a Manning Lookout - about a ten minute drive, which looks over Kangaroo Valley. This is a great place to relax with friends and is within a short driving distance to many of the areas highlights - such as Kangaroo Valley. Thanks Nikki - we enjoyed our stay. 15.01.2022 We spent 2 nights at Timbalah with our children and the grandparents. Was large enough for all of us with an awesome open plan layout. Loved the billiards table and the outdoor spa. 14.01.2022 My group of 10 had an exceptional weekend away at Nicola's retreat at Fitzroy Falls. The place was incredibly spacious and homely but really felt that we were away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the pool table and all the cooking facilities as it had everything. Great local recommendations to and a very kind house red house warming gift on arrival. 12.01.2022 Fitzroy Falls is such a beautiful spot and we had a fantastic two days staying at Nicola's house this past weekend. Due to a surprise visit from overseas family, we were scrambling last minute to find a central and convenient place to have a weekend away, somewhere in NSW they hadn't been before. Imagine my delight when I found this Airbnb property that had capacity for our small group of 7 plus potentially had room if other family members were able to come away with us. Nico...la went above and beyond to make sure we had additional items for our 8 month old daughter (a portacot and a high chair) and also made up additional beds in case our other family members made it. The spa and pool table, plus the shelves of books and boardgames were a welcome distraction when the weather wasn't quite as we'd hoped and overall we had a wonderful weekend. 12.01.2022 GREAT PLACE FOR A FAMILY GET TOGETHER! Booked Timbalah for a special birthday. 4 Nights. Lovely House and Garden. Short distance to villages and wineries and the Falls of course. 10.01.2022 Timbalah is an amazing property, has everything you need. We had 11 people stay and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space. The spa and the pool table were a hit for our stay and plenty of yard for the little ones to explore and run around. We would highly recommend this property. 01.01.2022 Our little gateway Beautiful and peaceful little spot. We loved our stay so much that we decide to extend it of one day! Tha fireplace was magical and kept the house very warm and cosy. Just a little misunderstanding about the jacuzzi but the was totally our fault! Laura (June - Homeway)
