25.01.2022 Had a cool day at Rallydrive with Kelly Racing visiting us for a day in the dirt. It was awesome to see the guys mix it up outside the V8s. Really enjoyed sharing the speedway duties with my brother Luke. Back in the workshop tomorrow

25.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone! Hoping this week has been great to you all so far. I’d like to share some news that will affect our next month. It is one of my highest priorities to have a relationship with each customer that results in the absolute best service and advice I can give, while hopefully instilling trust and an enjoyable visit whenever we get to see you.... As a result, many of you know that I’ve had a disease called Ulcerative Colitis for many years, and some will know I’ve had a very challenging year with flare ups and treatment. I feel I’m in the best hands to guide me through this season, and I’ve been advised that I have no treatment options that can help me at the level I’m currently unwell. Therefore, I’ve made the decision to close the workshop for the next 2 weeks, and I will be having surgery next Thursday, which will give me a whole new lease on life. I expect to be out of action for at least 4 weeks, but we are putting plans in place to be operating before the end of October. For anybody who has a booking in place, I will be in touch ASAP and make arrangements so your car still gets the care we love to give. I want to say a massive THANK YOU to every person who has supported us in this journey so far, and I’m really looking forward to celebrating our 2nd birthday coming up on November 15!

21.01.2022 Good morning. After receiving some enquiries this morning we just want to clarify, with advice from our industry bodies and leaders, it is business as usual at Timberlake Automotive. Our operations will continue as normal until further notice in accordance with Government, health and industry experts' guidance and directives.

20.01.2022 Good evening everyone. Hoping you’re going well in these strange times. I’d just like to stop and say a massive THANK YOU to everybody for your support. We have been extremely busy these past few weeks (and months), and I’ve been humbled and greatly encouraged by every customer coming in, and the enquires and bookings for the coming weeks. I also want to let you know that for personal reasons we will be closed tomorrow - Thurs 2/4 and Friday 3/4.... Business returns as usual next Monday 6/4, of course in line with Government directives. (I will say this is completely unrelated to COVID19.) Take care of yourselves and each other! See you soon

In what was an extremely challenging year for so many, my family and I are incredibly grateful for the support of our customers, suppliers, trade friends, and our family and friends (and the medical team!) that got us through what has been the hardest thing we’ve ever been through. I’m truly blown away and humbled by the amount of people who reached out and generously helped us.... I’m certainly enjoying some rest time now, and looking forward to what will come in 2021! 14.01.2022 2 years today! With nervous excitement, we opened for our first day 2 years ago. We’ve experienced a wonderful journey so far, made what it is with thanks to all of you supporting and encouraging us all the way. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! With an extremely challenging past couple of months that saw me go through a major surgery, I am now very pleased to say that I will be opening again starting tomorrow. I wouldn’t be at this stage without the kindness, generosity and prayerful sup...port of many people. My biggest gratitude is for Sharen Timberlake - you have blown me away with how hard you’ve worked and loved our family through all of this. I’m so proud of you I’m really looking forward to seeing and serving you all in this new season beyond my sickness. Have a wonderful day! Dave

We will remain closed this week, and assess how I am this coming weekend. We’re really hoping that I’ll be well enough to open up again next week. 03.01.2022 In such uncertain times affecting us all, my thoughts and prayers are with our community and our leaders. With many businesses and organisations being hit hard and making significant changes, I just wanted to give you an update on Timberlake Automotive: It's business as usual here, with a couple of tweaks.... Our day to day looks the same, with the personal and high level of service continuing due to the fact you only deal with the owner/director/lead technician - ME! - each and every time you visit. As such, being mindful of and actively managing the current potential risks within our company is quite simple. - We are avoiding physical contact as much as possible - Each vehicle is wiped down with antibacterial wipes on any surfaces we touch (eg: door handles, steering wheels, handbrakes, wiper/indicator switches, mirrors, keys...) before you take it away - Office surfaces and equipment are wiped down after each interaction Looking forward to seeing you next time you're in! I've been dealing with some challenges recently, and I want to make a point today of thanking every person who has been so incredibly supportive and understanding, in particular where we've had to alter our bookings and schedules on the fly, in some cases 2 or 3 times. I am unbelievably encouraged by, and very very thankful for all of our customers and supporters. THANK YOU ALL!!
