25.01.2022 Recently had the opportunity to travel to China with a brilliant photographer and friend, Rodney Stewart, to participate in the 2015 PingYao International Photography Festival - held in the ancient section of the city of Pingyao in Shanxi Province, China. Representing a series of images curated by Alex Syndikas for The Stills Co-op, a photographic/artistic collective - it was a unique experience and an amazing event, at a grand scale. It was brilliantly organized, orchestrated and exceptionally well-hosted. And I had the pleasure of meeting and sharing food and laughs with some very talented and great photographers, artists and curators. These images included were the ones exhibited at the festival.

19.01.2022 Sitting on a wind swept hill, engrossed in watching a "mob" of Kangaroos coming out of the dense bushland onto a grassy plain, a flicker in my peripheral, catches my attention. In a short second, a tall buck is standing squarely in front of me, a breath away, almost too close to get focus. He just gazed. In those moments, as the photo was made , he looked ...and looked. Dropping his head,he smelt the grass, and returned to the mob. There are times, when the world seems to stop.....that was one.
