25.01.2022 This was an awesome Free Camp (donation recommended) we ended up staying for most of the Easter Break, it has a 72 Hr limit. The Gardens were really interesting and we got a surprise when we went to grab some shots with the drone, make sure you check out the video as we never noticed this from the ground.

21.01.2022 Petrie Park, Tiaro QLD This is a fantastic little spot on the Mary river at Tiaro QLD, there is enough room for 6 or 7 vans, clean toilets and a nice picnic area, only around 1 Klm from town which has a grocery store, butcher was awesome, coffee house and a pub, water was available from another overnight stay camp in town but no dump point. There are signs up at the river to beware of Crocs This is a real RV friendly town and the towns people I met are very friendly.

16.01.2022 A couple of shots of the beautiful beaches at Ballina.

15.01.2022 On the road after leaving Wallabadah heading towards our next stop is a look out call Moonbi lookout, guess the shots don't do it justice but was quite impressive just the same

15.01.2022 This was our first stop, the beginning of the new adventure

12.01.2022 It has been a wet couple of days at Buladelah central NSW coast, this is a free camp, yesterday there wasn't a free spot, today they are all parked up in town

11.01.2022 This is the first stop on our travels around Australia. What a beautiful spot Ballina is

10.01.2022 This was a nice stop. Quite and a nice place for Sasha as well

09.01.2022 On Friday we headed to Budgewoi from Bulahdelah (fantastic spot to stay at the bowls club but man was it wet)and stayed at the Budgewoi Caravan Park, ended up with a great site and big too, we had a great view looking straight out to LakeMunmorah . Our youngest daughter Roz and husband Dave drove up from Sydney to meet on the Saturday and stayed the night. Sunday we did a bit of sight seeing and headed to Norah Head Light House beautiful views and decided to head down the st...airs to the outstanding beach and rocky out crop, can see why a light house was necessary. All this area was dog friendly and Sasha had a ball. It was great to see Roz and Dave and will probably be the last time before Xmas . This is also the end of us heading south and will start to head north inland towards Brisbane then further North again. We hope you enjoy the photos, it was a little windy for the drone and as you can see in the photo not allowed in the light house area See more

02.01.2022 On Monday we started our trek north again towards Brisbane, now you can't hurry theses things, a couple of hours north heading towards Tamworth is a little town called Aberdeen and very RV friendly free camp, toilets, water and most important there is a dump point, pub next door and a newsagent just up the road. We spent the night here and enjoyed the pub. This is the first night we have spent free camping it so to speak with no power relying completely on the solar panels a...nd the batteries, well of course the batteries went flat sufficiently for my CPAP machine to shut down around 2am with this annoying little beeping happing in the nerve centre control cabinet, once the inverter and CPAP was disconnected the beeping stoped and I managed to get back to sleep, Sandra said I pretty much snored for the rest of the night but I'm not sure about that as that would mean she would have to be awake for the rest of the night listening to me. Naaaaaah can't see that hey. Well we are heading up the road a couple of hours to another free camp with a time limit of 72 Hrs which will give me time to check out the solar problem, hey at the very worse we have the generator and what a better way to meet my fellow campers than over the hum of a generator. Stay Tuned See more
