07.01.2022 Did a long weekend trip to Pt Hughes with the family to do some fishing. I caught my first fish beach fishing on the first afternoon so was happy with that and have to brag I was the only one. Early mornings and late nights had on this jetty with limited success but our final morning had plenty of squid jumping onto lines, amazing to watch. Time with the family was great, recommend Port Hughes for a nice family retreat and the best pizza/pasta in Moonta at Cafe Capellas

07.01.2022 Checking in to ask how are you? How has your week/month been? I have had one of the busiest and most tiring times in the last few weeks with our move! I was not quite prepared for all the work involved landing in our new place. We had some unforeseen hiccups but thats life isn't it. Must say I'm sleeping better than I've slept in ages so the upside to all the business is definitely a good night sleep. We all need a good rest dont we? 05.01.2022 Into my 3rd week of the Traumatic Brain Injury course and squeezed in a small part before starting appointments today. Its been very interesting and I now have so much more understanding of concussion and more severe brain injury and Im only a couple of modules in. One thing I take away from the concussion information and particularly concussion in young people/adolescents is the time recommendation before heading back to contact sport once symptoms have eased. It is actually longer than most recommendations I have heard of being at least 4 weeks. Looking forward to more learning!
