25.01.2022 Last week the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care students enjoyed participating in activities. The students were responsible for setting up the environment and choosing how they wanted to direct their play. They participated in play dough, crafts and painting. Look out child care industry, here comes another lot of amazing educators!

19.01.2022 We invited Jeremey Pook, the Director from Le Fevre Community Children's Centre to come in and chat with our Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care students . Jeremy has been in the industry for 27 years and has been the Director of his current centre for 13 years. Lefevre Community Child Care Centre is one of our centres that we work very closely with in regards to student support and employment. Jeremy discussed what his centre look for in an edu...cator and he also discussed his journey of how he worked his way up from an educator to a centre Director. He also discussed what it was like being in an industry which is predominately female orientated and the adversaries he faced. Jeremy discussed with our students what their core values are and how the Lefevre team work together to ensure that best possible practices are implemented within their centre. 15.01.2022 On Wednesday our Certificate III in Education Support class participated in the unit CHCEDS018. This unit looks at Supporting students with additional needs in the classroom environment. In partners the students presented ways to support a child with autism to build a tower using blocks. 08.01.2022 Yesterday the Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care class learnt how to provide care for children. In this class they looked at being responsible for supporting children’s emotions, physical and individual needs. An important part of working with children is learning alongside them - so the class painted, made playdough and participated in gluing. They had so much fun and learnt the value of sharing, team work and creative skills.
