11.01.2022 You can still get fat by eating healthy - I see it happen all the time, many Mums have told me that they eat healthy but have no idea why they’re not seeing weight loss progress. What causes weight gain is eating in a surplus of calories. Conversely what causes weight loss is eating in a calorie deficit (not always quite as simple as that but for the purposes of this point). Even if you're eating solely grass-fed, low-carb, low-fat, free-range, whole foods you will gain weig...ht if you are taking in more calories than you are burning. So is eating 'clean' even important? Totally, in order to make sure you are getting all the nutrients you need, most of your food should be whole food sources. BUT, you can easily put on fat JUST eating 'clean'. It's about understanding how the right AMOUNT of calories for you specifically work in combination with the TYPE of macro nutrients you consume. With a focus on eating ENOUGH to fuel an energised body AND produce fat loss results. www.pushprogram.com.au
02.01.2022 Some RESTRAINT will most definitely be required to see consistent and predictable weight loss results. But if you want results to be sustainable the LAST thing that should turn into is RESTRICTION! There is a HUGE difference between having restraint and holding the power to say 'no' when it matters...... ...and starving yourself to death for a dramatic 4-6 weeks until your willpower runs out and you crash and burn (again). START WITH THE END IN MIND but don't race to the finish line at the expense of long term success.
