12.01.2022 Red and black cladding for the YMCA. As you all know I am always open to using new materials and learning new skills, sometimes however it is nice to know your product and strengthen your skills. I originally learned my trade with a commercial carpentry company installing Alucobond Luckily for me the YMCA and Cercol provided TMC with this opportunity to work with Alucobond once again and provide a great finished product.

08.01.2022 I recently completed this deck in Gowrie from Oz Tuff Decking. Oz Tuff is different to normal decking, it’s made out of recycled plastics and timber. The boards are clip lock which means no face fixings. It’s also fantastic to work with and the finished product looks great. The material itself is cheap (much cheaper than 150mm wide Merbau) and once laid requires no maintenance.

05.01.2022 Pallet deck. Yesterday I built this deck for a lovely lady and her son. They live in rental property so I was unable to build a normal deck. Instead we flattened out an area in the back yard and used pallets as the base structure. This is a great design as the deck can easily be dismantled and taken with them if they move. ...
