11.01.2022 So, last night at the Wheatsheaf Hotel I bumped into my old friend Nick West (of Mystik Lemonz fame back in the day). He was there to perform his song 'Mental' in the 2020 SCALA FOOM song competition. I had my bass there with me for other reasons, so he said 'why not?' ... and jolly won the heat! Replay in the finals in a few weeks. :-)

08.01.2022 First post-Covid gig for Dingo's Bel - a great night at the Morella Community Centre. Thanks to Ina Kusumaningrum and the other staff. Recorded through a slightly jittery internet ... not all the tempo changes were really us. But at least we were able to reach out to more people than were allowed to be in the live audience. :-) We got a bit close towards the end there, but if the police are asking questions, there was definitely *no* dancing, in complete compliance with current Covid rules.

06.01.2022 So, I've been working with Magic Tortoise for a while now - original music mostly by Matt Cattanach. Matt's musical style is different, unique, a little quirky ... and I *love* it. We've played in public before, but this event is our first standalone show where we're the only music on the bill. Small venue, but still feels like a significant milestone for us. We'd love to see a bunch of our friends there this Friday night. :-)

05.01.2022 Dingo's Bel is playing this Wed night 22-July at Morella Community Centre. Extra seats available because restrictions have been partially eased. Free entry but we are still managing numbers carefully to comply with current guidelines. Message me if you'd like tickets - first come, first serve.

01.01.2022 On Thurs night Matt and Tim On Bass played 'Away From Your Love' as an entry in the SCALA FOOM 2020 song competition Heat #1 at the Wheatsheaf Hotel. Tim picked a camera angle which enabled him to mostly hide behind Matt for the entire song, but fortunately sound travels around corners just fine.
