06.01.2022 The spring polo season has finally come to an end! Timor has had some big moments this season with the most recent achievement being Timor’s very own Gus Aguirre winning the Melbourne Polo Cup - playing for Ellerston White with his string of superstar Timor horses. Timor also was also a horse lender for the recent FIP World Cup in Sydney providing ponies who played for the successful England team. Another Timor bred pony ‘Faith’ ( by Patton) who is now owned by Robbert Ball...ard and played for Chile in the World Cup received a best playing pony award in September in QLD at Elysian Fields (played by Robbie Ballard) Quite a number of Timor horses won awards this season including Timor bred mares ‘Stella’ and ‘Naomi’ both by Patton. This was Naomi’s 3rd BPP award. For the rest of the year Timor will be focusing on chukkas with the young horses and the breeding season. 03.01.2022 Our usual polo pony turn out paddock (all polo ponies broken in and upwards) has now become our house yard as their normal paddock is out of feed and water. There is something nice about having them all so close by, and they are very much at home now, literally!
