11.01.2022 A big shout out to Finley. Since 2014 this small rural community has been connected with Timor-Leste through a mutually beneficial immersion program. Giving generously through their own tough times of drought. Despite, or perhaps because of, the cancellation of 2020 Immersion program , the good folk of Finley have donated funds to ensure that our 3 wonderful staff have money to see them through till September. Thankyou Finley from the bottom of our hearts. You rock
09.01.2022 It has been a tough 12 months for everyone. Some countries have been devastated by covid-19 infections and deaths while other countries have had very few. 04.01.2022 It was not the year that anyone had planned but despite the many challenges there has been a great deal of good that has come from 2020; messages from our past customers and customers who were booked with us on tours this year, the financial support from the Finley Timor-Leste Immersion group that provided our staff with an allowance for 6 months, Julio and Jonias continuing their work in tourism development by securing employment with USAID and the Asia Foundation, the advocacy and support of the staff and Cornish College and the opportunity to spend more time with family.
