24.01.2022 "Diesel" was also started under saddle this past week and is also doing a super job. This boy has the most comfortable canter to ride so think I'll enjoy this one a lot.

24.01.2022 The second of our breakers going back to a young rider is "Indy". Her mum, Chloe, came to ride her this afternoon and absolutely loved her. Another ride planned for Wednesday then she'll be going home to be spoilt!

24.01.2022 We took little "Indy" for a beach ride this morning. Not a real fan of the surf but she braved it anyway. Beautiful morning for it! Indy is going back to a young rider so she needs be a little more rideable than the average breaker. We'll see what her mum thinks when she comes to have a ride on her.

24.01.2022 Update on our current horses. We have "Gem", a very sweet QH x mare who is having some basic schooling for her young rider. "Vince" has starting working in the arena and doing a super job. "Joe" is a very pretty palomino QH gelding here for breaking. "Measles" is a stunning Appaloosa gelding here for breaking. "BB" is a very lovely riding pony mare also here for breaking along with another chestnut riding pony gelding "JJ". Watch this space for updates on their progress.

21.01.2022 This is "Jethrowe" our reserve lead horse. For months Nel has been telling me how fantastic he is so for the first time since we bought him 2 years ago I thought I would give him a ride. Have to say I agree with her! He's pretty special!

20.01.2022 Today we took "Remy" to the beach, a little earlier than we normally would in the breaking process but really wanted to give him the opportunity. He really surprised me with his have a go attitude as I hadn't really planned on taking him in the water too much. As it turns out he was perfectly ok with it! He has changed ownership during his stay with us and will be heading home with his new mum tomorrow. We wish them all the best in their future together.

19.01.2022 Today "Joey" headed home with his mum, Carlie. He was such a good boy for her if not a little lazy! She even rode him out on a trail and did an excellent job with him. I think the future looks very bright for this pair. One very happy and excited owner.

19.01.2022 "Joey" is now under saddle and doing a super job. He really surprised me with how easily he has taken to it and just confirms again how important getting the ground work right is. Very happy with this beautiful boy.

18.01.2022 One very happy owner having her first ride on her beautiful "Denver". She did a fantastic job and I know they'll have a super future ahead of them. Always a little sad to see them go but she's in great hands.

18.01.2022 Today I took the beautiful "Billy" to dressage and am very happy to say he won both his novice tests. His mum was very excited to watch him and take home his blue ribbons. Go "Billy", you little champion!

17.01.2022 The confusion when I take two black horses to Katina's for lessons! This is "Billy" doing a super job and getting familiar with the indoor and doesn't he look great!

17.01.2022 The lovely "Joey" got to spend the afternoon at the beach. So well behaved and even handled Nel's young horse having a hump and spin in front of him without fuss! Happy just to cruise along and thought canter was too much work. He'll be heading home very soon to his very excited mum.

17.01.2022 All babies are progressing well in the long reins. Joe, Measles, BB and JJ almost ready for their first rides. Who will be first? Undecided at this stage but happy with all of their progress. Watch this space!

16.01.2022 We can't recommend Tim and the team at Rudder Equine Services highly enough. He has done an amazing job starting my little brumby and re-educating my daughters ...big fella. Not only does Tim work brilliantly with the horses, but he does a pretty good job with the humans too. No question is stupid, and he has been completely accommodating with our desire to ride the horses at his place a few times before going home, as well as checking in with us after they came home. 14.01.2022 We have two breakers going home to young riders at the moment. The first is "Deisel" who was ridden today by his very excited mum Emily. I think she is super excited to be getting him home this week!

14.01.2022 Today Delta and I had the privilege to take part in the opening of our newly constructed dressage arena at Kempsey showground by the Hon. Melinda Pavey MP. This is huge asset to the equestrian community in our area and took many years of planning and with the recent government grants was able to become a reality. It's great to see our Showground reaching its full potential for all users.

13.01.2022 Another of our new babies here to be broken is "Diesel", a lovely paint gelding. He has been working very kindly on the ground and will soon be under saddle. This is one very cute little guy!

13.01.2022 "Little Joe" spent the morning at the beach . He's not a huge fan of water but he sure was happy to get into the surf and paw the waves. He has now completed his time with us and is going home this week. I have really enjoyed working with this lovely boy.

12.01.2022 "Vince" having a late afternoon ride at the beach. He is such a cruisy dude and just took everything in his stride. Loved our ride together even with his legs all over the place. I'm sure he'll grow into them one day!

05.01.2022 Today we took "Rusty" to the beach. This is a little QH gelding that came to us some months ago as he was very touchy and nervous. Our aim was to get him settled enough for his mum to safely ride him which she is now able to do with confidence. He has pretty much taken up residence with us and was long overdue for a beach ride. Happy to say he took to it like a duck to water!

04.01.2022 The very pretty "Denver" had the morning at the beach in some glorious weather finally! For a little mare that wouldn't have a bar of the puddles on the trails she sure did love the ocean. Definitely more of a beach babe!

04.01.2022 The baby racehorse "Diva" will be heading to the racing stables this week to start her track work. I think she'll be an awesome racehorse, big, bold and beautiful!

03.01.2022 One of our new arrivals in to be broken. This is "Joey" a paint gelding who is more of a dun. He has spent the last couple of weeks on ground work and will very soon be under saddle. He has the striking looks of a supermodel this one! I

03.01.2022 Meet the very pretty "Charity", a 10yo paint mare, who has come to us for restarting. She hasn't had a great start to life prior to her current owner purchasing her and they would like to give her the best chance they can going forward. She's very sweet but very scared and our time, at the moment, is spent moving her feet around and allowing her time to think. Small steps for big gains.

03.01.2022 A big welcome back to "Billy", a warmblood gelding that we broke in 4 years ago. Due to his owner being unable to ride at the moment I am lucky enough to get to work him for a few weeks while she recovers. I'll be taking this beautiful boy to a dressage competition this weekend and really looking forward to getting him out!

03.01.2022 On Thursday we took the beautiful "Image" to the beach. True to her nature she was perfect. Can't believe this girl has had so little interest in finding her forever home. She will continue to stay in work with us until she does. Seriously sweet little mare who would suit pretty much anyone. Such a pleasure to do anything with!
