20.01.2022 Failure is success training My wife and I were watching a movie the other night and these words stuck in my head. Maybe it's because I've been thinking about missing my fundraising goal, and not just missing but missing by quite a bit. The thing is, who would have thought this year would turn the way it did? My plan was to hold events and raise funds that way, unfortunately COVID took those opportunities away.... But the level of support shown for what I attempted has been humbling, and I want to say thank you for donating or supporting my attempt to raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer and the need for greater funding to research this disease. Missing my fundraising goal did knock me around mentally, however I've dusted myself off and slightly shifted the goalpost. Let's reach the target by the end of 2021! January 20 will be a special luncheon held at The Illawarra, Whisky & Wagyu lunch. All profits raised from the day will go to PanKind, The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation . Details will be released later on Christmas Eve. Thank you again for all the support so far, I look at this next stage of fundraising as not a continuation, but a Reboot. 17.01.2022 Hard to believe we are approaching the halfway point of 2020. As we approach tax time, I thought I would remind you all I am still hoping to reach my fundraising goal. If you are looking to make a charitable contribution before the end of financial year, you can help raise money for the Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation here - http://bit.ly/Donate25kin366Days As we see restrictions lifting, hopefully we will be able to hold an event or two soon. Thank you all for the ongoin...g support, please share and spread the word. P.S. how good was the beard looking today? #25kIn366Days #AvnerFoundation

13.01.2022 Saddened to hear the of the passing of Alex Trebek. After his diagnosis he would often use his voice to spread hope, and push for more research and awareness of this disease. Remember Pancreatic Cancer still has - No early detection tests No cures... #pancreaticcancer #pancreaticcancerawarenessmonth #RIPAlexTrebek If you are able to, please help by supporting PanKind, The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (formerly known as the Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation) and the work they do to research and raise awareness for this form of cancer http://bit.ly/Donate25kin366Days

11.01.2022 Apologies for the lack of updates. 2020 has been tough for many of us for multiple reasons. But it's not over yet, and while the goal may be a little out of reach this year, we still have a few months left. Realistically there is always next year! Thank you everyone, don't forget to follow Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and support the great work they do.... #25kin366Days #AvnerFoundation #HappyBirthdayDad bit.ly/Donate25kin366Days
