24.01.2022 @vic_active and I are calling for action from DHHS to allow the health and fitness industry to finally join the rest of Victoria in reaching a COVID-normal state. @ramslegit @drew_westfield @tonydohertyoz ... @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia See more

22.01.2022 Rehabilitating an athlete is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed putting Golgol Mebrahtu under the pump this year; he’s a brilliant athlete who took to our strength and conditioning sessions like a duck to water. I can’t wait to see him making waves in the A-League next year - a top athlete and an even better lad

19.01.2022 Eight years ago this month saw the retirement of a truly great member of the @socceroos, one of the most focused and accomplished athletes I have had the pleasure of working with. Vince Grella left Australia as an 18-year old, moving to Italy, where he played in the Lega Serie A for @empoli_fc_official and @parma.fc_ before moving to the Blackburn @rovers in the Premier League in 2008. He represented Australia 46 times and played at the 2006 and 2010 World Cup competitions.... I had the pleasure of working closely in multiple camps to get him up for one more season with Melbourne Heart (now @melbournecity), which was then coached by @johnaloisi_15 Vinnie was a player who embodied the essential physical and mental attributes required to be a successful soccer player. He was a recognisable force in both Australian and International football. I have never met an athlete or footballer with the same discipline and will to win, as Vince. Any young footballer who dreams of playing overseas should aspire to play like Vince - I have never seen anything like it. We’d set up agility poles 30-35m away that Vinnie would lace the perfect pass hit 10 times out of 10, he wouldn’t leave the field otherwise. Vince has since gone on to be a successful player agent at Base soccer (@caabase), in Europe. It’s a proud time, a full circle moment seeing Vince bring some of my young charges, the next generation of footballers, into the spotlight. @stefanmauk @joshbrillante @daniel_desilva @scottgalloway3 @Mark Birighitti @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Let's do our part and create the quality to get Australian football through these Covid times and celebrate positive International football stories once more.

14.01.2022 What a rollercoaster ride 2020 has been. We were ravaged by covid, had our gyms shut down and battled through a Melbourne winter in lockdown. Professionally, the highlight of the year for me was seeing our physiotherapy business, The Sports Clinic of Melbourne, grind through the winter as an essential service, continuing to provide the highest level of care for our beautiful patients. It was wonderful to share some Christmas cheer with our staff this weekend - a brilliant g...roup of professionals who are the essence of the Sports Clinic of Melbourne. We gladly had some drinks and laughs to see out 2020. We’ll be ready, bring on 2021 @ Oscar Cooper

13.01.2022 A few months ago, when our lives were in lockdown, I had a great time chatting all things soccer with my mate George Cotsanis on his show My World Is Round. You can see the full interview on his Facebook page or YouTube channel

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Stefan Mauk in being appointed captain of Adelaide United football club this week. The youngest captain in the club’s history. I first started working with Stef when he was referred to me by my friend Vinnie Grella, who was acting as Stef’s mentor and player agent. Over the past nine years, it has been an absolute pleasure to work with Stef, to prepare him as an athlete and footballer, to the highest of his abilities. ... Already in his career, he’s played in Europe, won an A-League title for Adelaide, earned a Soccerroos cap and now, this latest accolade. Always a priority with Stef is to make him strong from the inside out. I’m extremely proud of seeing him learn life lessons as an athlete; now putting that into practice with his latest project The Inner Game journal All the best for the season ahead Stef, I can’t wait to see what you do next . . https://www.google.com//n/912e060ad86d056f5855dedb5b8d8a2d @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

11.01.2022 What a man of the match performance by Peter Siddle, of the Adelaide Strikers, with a huge five-wicket haul, 5/16 in last night’s BBL match against the Hobart Hurricanes Sids is one of my all-time favourite athletes who I have had the pleasure of working closely with, in any sport or football code. In my opinion, Sids epitomises the one percent. Any athlete can turn up to training and perform the bare essentials. Those at the top of the tree are across all aspects of the eli...te athlete lifestyle. This may include optimising individualised understanding of nutrition, strength and conditioning knowledge for performance and injury prevention, supplementary physical therapy treatments to offset soft tissue or stress response injuries; and for a fast bowler who has performed for over 15 years at the top level, understanding how to build a strong core and a powerful butt. Sids, in my mind, embodies all of these principles. It is hardly surprising that, at 36, he still excels at the top level in Australian and International cricket. It has always been a pleasure working with you over the last 12 years, Sids Read more about the match and Siddle’s awesome efforts below @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia https://www.google.com//8a457052-58f3-4633-b79a-a60d5e1b15

11.01.2022 This campaign has been tough but extremely worthwhile. Finally, the physical and mental health of all Victorians can be prioritised. Swipe right for a covid-safe laugh @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
