24.01.2022 It was with great sadness that last week one of our volunteers, Beryl Murray tendered her resignation after 25 years of service to our organisation - our Treasurer, Julie Collins, called on Beryl and presented her with a certificate and flowers - happy bowling Beryl!

24.01.2022 A reminder and a request from members and friends that our AGM is on this Saturday at 1.00 p.m. at the RSL rooms - members if you could bring a plate it would be appreciated... Membership fees of $5.00 are due and payable on the day - this fee ensures that you are covered under our insurance policy and is required if you are to drive or help with fund raising activities. Also....we have our very first BUNNINGS BBQ Sunday November 1 and we need at least 18 volunteers to cover 3 shifts ....please, please offer your assistance!

23.01.2022 Check out page 11 of this months Bay Bulletin ...thanks again Jenni Jackson

22.01.2022 Meet our client, Delmai! Delmai moved from Gympie around 2 years ago following the death of her husband and is now residing in Rainbow with her daughter and son in law and their two children. Delmai has found the meals to be beautiful and was particularly fond of the vegetable and pumpkin soups all of which are made from fresh ingredients in our Gympie kitchen and delivered on Mondays. The price of the meals delivered was also reported as being great Value. Our voluntee...rs have also received the thumbs up from Delmai who says they have all been happy, polite and courteous. 12.01.2022 What an amazing group of volunteers we have! To all 22 who turned up yesterday for our morning tea and meeting thank you! During the morning Secretary, Di Warren updated all on the present situation regarding COVID19 procedures and protocols - surveys were handed in to our newly elected assistant secretary Chris Olsen, and these are being collated and tasks allocated. Treasurer, Julie Collins reported on our financials and advised that a grant has been lodged for the pur...chase of a new car. It was with much sadness that the committee reported on the resignation of Beryl Murray, a dearly loved and much appreciated volunteer of 25 years. Ideas and suggestions for bonding and fundraising were discussed and to this end a roster has been drawn up for assistance with our Sausage sizzle at this Saturday's Tin Can Bay Market - please check your emails for details See more

10.01.2022 Well what a hectic few weeks we have had with the wonderful news to share with you all that our delightful Di is improving incredibly and would like to thank you all for your well wishes - she has improved so much that she has even been shopping with Don and Julie for a new car for our organisation! Our client numbers are remaining at around a constant 30 and the delivery process is working out well with the run in to Gympie and the deliveries taking no more than 4 hours. 08.01.2022 A message from our always active dynamic di .....this lady is remarkable in what she is doing to keep our organization functioning.... Hats off to you @dianewarren ...video taken at Silky Oaks Saturday January 18. Good morning to all our valued volunteers Thought i would drop you all a line to let you know whats going on. QMOW have made a few guidelines for us to adhere to. Only 1 person allowed in the car, also volunteers over the age of 70 cannot help at the moment as the...y are in the high risk area. Gympie MOW have very strict rules as to what to do once there for pickup. We have gained a few more new clients and people have lovely reviews on there meals they are now receiving. The Easter frozens went through without a hitch , thanks to Steve for your help in deliveries yesterday. The raffle tickets some of you have, you can still sell if you like but the draw date has been postponed until later in the year, so no hurry for the sale of these. The committee wishes you all well and please stay at home. Cheers Di See more
